Just be aware that cruise cash is apparently not refundable in case you don't use it all. There may be some sort of casino trick to use it then you can cash it out there on the last night. Not sure though. Leaving next week as well. Do a search on that before you go!

Great review and pics! On the Magic on July 21 and can't wait to sail on her again!
-
Thank you! I figured that out too and it worked like a charm. Thank you to the OP for putting the code out there.

A good way to throw away $90.
If you think it's not worth it, don't buy it. Obviously, I believe it's worth it for my family of 4 on a 7 day cruise with a tender port. Have a pleasant day.

Going on the Magic next month. Thanks for the detailed review!

I booked this cruise back in October and FTTF was sold out then. I called in January I believe and that person said they weren't releasing it until 6 months or so before the cruise. New policy. I called again in April, and that customer service rep had no idea what I was talking about. She said I never should have been told that, and that it was SOLD OUT. I think it does in fact seem like Carnival is trying something new in releasing it so close to our cruises. I would have preferred getting it when I booked. Having our cabin ready immediately and being able to dump our carry-ons is worth it. So is having the shorter line at customer service, which we used quite a bit last cruise. Happy for everyone that were finally able to get it!

I have been checking constantly for our 7/21 cruise on the Magic and FTTF is now available! Just wanted to share.
-
That would be terrible if people missed out on visiting family! We are sailing in 7/21. I'm praying everything is fixed well before then. I don't want anyone to miss any ports, or be without AC. We've had this vacation booked for months, and those things would absolutely affect it.

I'm hoping that they'll accept AMEX gift cards still. They did last year, though it was more difficult as compared to my Visa gift cards. Anyone recently successful using them?

We'll be on the Magic in July and are also considering doing this tour, but I'm unsure of who to book through. Carnival's excursion is of course the priciest and most crowded and rushed sounding. That being said, I feel reassured going through the ship. I've been researching shore excursioneer dot com as well. Sounds less crowded and is definitely less expensive. I'm nervous about tendering to the port, catching another boat and then tendering back on time. Yes, I'm a worrier! Does anyone have any advice they can offer? We have our two teenage kids that want to snorkel A LOT, as do I. Thanks for your help!
-
I found an excursion on shore excursioneer that seems to include a bunch of stuff. We want to snorkel, have lunch, hit the tequila tasting mainly, which is all included as well as lockers and beach chairs. Not terribly interested in the dolphins or sea lions. They are asking for $39/pp. Would we be better off paying a la carte for all of those things?
-
Not really, but it does very by ship and when they run sales it's not on every ship, nor every sailing.
The sales are also not often 'advertised'. It just gets listed at a different price point (no 20% off tag or such).
I will keep checking then. Thanks for the insight!

Geez, my drink package is $60/day. They must have different prices for different length cruises I suppose.

We're taking a short cruise in February and are new to RC. Where do I find the punch cards? I only see the drink package offered as an option online.

Loving your review! We sail on the Enchantment in February out of Port Canaveral. It will be our 1st cruise with Royal Caribbean, so I'm particularly loving all your photos! Thanks for posting pics of menus, too!
-
Surely you jest, hahaha, but thank you so much for the kind words. I love writing although I don't get a lot of chances to do it. As soon as I get some sponsored trip opportunities rolling in, I will get right on my travel writing career ;). I would love that - DH too I'm sure :)
I hope you enjoy Enchantment as much as we did - is it your first cruise ever or just with RCI?
I'm not jesting at all! You've got a gift and I think my fellow readers would agree. Loving every minute of your review. We have cruised on Carnival a few times and wanted to try a different line. This is also an extended "date night" for us and wanted something from Jax or Port Canaveral. The Enchantment had the winning dates!
-
I'm hoping that you'll be a travel writer in the very near future! Your writing is EXACTLY what I love! DH and I are taking our 1st ever RCI cruise in February on Enchantment, so could you please have your book published by then?

I booked our July Magic cruise out of PC back in October, and FTTF has never been available. I check every day with fingers crossed! Still very much worth it to us.
-
I was hoping it would apply to a mostly Mexican cruise ! Oh well.
-
I'm sailing on the Magic in July to Western Caribbean and I didn't get the email! I tried to book an excursion and it won't let me use the code. I wanted to apply it to a Roatan excursion-is that why it's invalid?
-
I'm' curious about snorkeling here as well. Anyone have any input?

Following as well! Went last July and will be sailing again this July. Anxious to hear about Belize?
Steakhouse Question

I have done a search and just can't find the updated Steakhouse menu! The old menu is on the Carnival site. Does anyone happen to have a pic or link? Thanks so much!
