I literally did not check in once for dinner before 8:20pm. Never more than a 10 minute wait and incredibly fast service. Soup was still piping hot.

There was literally no congestion on the stairs that I noticed. When I did use elevators, it was not unusual to find someone in a wheelchair. Everyone seemed courteous to let them in or out.

When you are right, you are right. And what were they before? Platinum Cards. It has to do with the person, and not the color of the card.

I was never a Platinum, we were Dimond when they invented Dimond.

Off the Pride today, Eight day Panama Canal partial transit. the only thing negative I have to say, and probably

anyone else that was on the cruise could also say was the ATD. Any time dining. We would check in at

5:30 for Dinner on the hub app, and it would say under ten minute wait, then would change after about

15 min wait to under 30 min wait. We actually waited over an hour to eat, waiting from 5:30 to 6:30 to

go into the MDR. It also happened while we waited to go to the seaday brunch, so, if anyone if going on

the Pride, just giving you a heads up, but other than that, it was a good cruise, did get a little choppy

on the seas, where they actually had to put those little airline bags in case of seasick at the

    elevators.

the app BS really sucks, just off the Mardi gras and had the same problem 2 times we went up to the Lido

I asked John Heald shortly after the restart if the Suite guests had to stick to their boarding time (because I had booked a last minute suite and had a late boarding time) and he said that suite guests could arrive at any time and board at any time and did not have to arrive within their allocated appointment window. That has been my experience post-covid at Galveston, Pt Can., Dover, and Seattle.

Before Covid, FTTF was the same way but just they boarded after Suites, Platinum, Diamond...but is all in quick succession. Not sure now since it just came back.

John is not right, if he is why bother with a boarding time if people just show up whenever

Greg, you're super knowledgeable about this stuff so I ask.  Do you have an easy breakdown about the ship classes and numbers in each that Costa has?  I agree that the hulls that make sense for Carnival are Spirit, Dream, maybe Vista, and Excel class vessels.  Nothing else makes sense to hang onto as 'available inventory'.

get all the Spirit class from Costa they have, and move one to Baltimore

  5. It always takes 1 to 1/1/2 hrs for diner its been that way since the 90 s sometimes it takes 20 min till they take or order depends on how many people at your table and around you. Lots of factors. We don't eat to much in the dining room anymore, we try the Lido so we don't need to change for the evening I can stay in shorts unless we go to the Steak house, we do that 2 times a cruise .

I tried to do a search but couldn't find an answer.  Has anyone who received casino deal (Jackpot or Plan Now Play Later) had an issue with the free drinks everywhere onboard?  My sister and I booked the Magic for next month on a Jackpot deal and have several other cruises booked with the Plan Now, Play Later deal - each with free play and free drinks everywhere onboard. I typically email Players Club to get the offer verified so that if there is a problem I will have the email verification.  I emailed several days ago and haven't received a reply in reference to the Magic cruise.

Rather than having to email for each of the upcoming cruises and hope that I get an answer, I thought I would ask if anyone who has booked under these casino offers had any problem once onboard in reference to getting the free drinks.

I appreciate any information any of you may have.

I have 3 of them 2 are 14 days, Im not a drinker use it more for the coffee

  7. We have done 6 BtoB over the years, we have the Mardi Gras in Jan and the Celebration in June we figure if we have to fly to Fla do 2. The only thing is get the same cabin for both. The other is Carnival made us get off the ship and say hello to customs and they could care less , they told us if we are not done with the cruise they don't need to see us, but Carnival still plays the game. 14 days makes you feel like you were on a cruise. We have a 14 day Journey cruise in 15 days on the Legend.
