Thanks
I know I shouldn't cheat, but part of me just gets so excited about the food on a cruise....I guess that is how I got so overweight to begin with. :(
What about the sugar free desserts? I know they are not carb free, but maybe they would slow down the insulin response?

Hi.....I hope this thread isn't totally dead.
I have a question. I have been doing 100% very low carb since mid January and have lost 27 pounds.
I am cruising next month and want to cheat a little. BUT I am nervous that I may feel sick, or get really bloated etc.
For those that follow strict low carb, what do you do when you cruise? Thanks

Not strange per se'......but we had a service dog on one our cruises. A blonde lab.

I can't use Priceline, because I need the guarantee of 2 beds. I use Hotwire.
For Seattle, I got the Silver Cloud Inn Lake Union for $149, going in late June.

Hi....
I just got back last week from my NCL cruise to Alaska, it was wonderful!!!!
We only stayed in Prince Rupert for 6 hours, I thought the current rule was 8 hours in a foreign port?

Not Priceline, but Hotwire.
Got the Sheraton Towers in Seattle for $129 a night in June.

Do you just make the coffee from the bathroom tap water?
-
Can you ask for extra pod packs?
Will room service bring a container of half and half? We like a lot :)
-
yes, coffee makers on the star. i think NCL has coffee makes in every cabin, i know the star and spirit..from personal experience.
Are they the little 4 cup ones? Do they give you coffee grounds and filters....or ?
What about half & half and Splenda?

Cranberry, apple, and orange juices were available all day/evening at the Garden Cafe on the Pearl last month.
We they pre-filled cups, or did you use an empty cup and fill yourself from a "fountain" type dispenser?
-
I don't know how many lines have juice all day anymore, I know NCL and HAL do not.
There was a post in this thread saying juice was available all day in the buffet....I thought??
For those that make Crystal Light etc in your cabin, what water do you use?

Hi....
I have a question. Is the juice that is available in a fountain, where you can serve yourself? I took a Carnival cruise a few years ago, and I brought a big sipper bottle and filled it up myself.
Can you have juice in the dining room? How is the iced tea, and do they have sweet N low?
Thanks
