I wonder if our Dailyites have opinions about this.  DH received a jury summons for early February.  Both he and I really don't like the idea of him sitting in a room for who knows how many days during Covid with strangers.  There's a phone number he can call with questions but of course not until Monday.

    Any thoughts?

In Calfornia if you are over 70 and tell them you "have to go pee often" you will be excused permanently.

  2. HAL routinely administers Rapid Antigen (Abbott) on board no charge to passengers.    I think the fly in the ointment is whether Hawaii wants PCR test rather than Rapid Antigen.    Hawaii requires PCR for flights to Hawaii.   My understanding is that PCR on board is doable and PCR has been done for some Canadians who need PCR to fly home.   Whether HAL will buy the equipment to do PCR for the entire ship is another question.

  3. thanks zelker.   I was just about to apologize to everyone that I don't know what I am doing!

o.k. going back to struggle with Hawaii Safe Travels.   I think Hawaii will require you to do this to enter Hawaii on cruise ship.

  4. Maybe there is still hope.   Call at Catalina is fine by me.   I started doing Hawaii Safe Travels and this is what I saw below.   Last port of call before Hawaii was Catalina not San Diego per Caribbean Chris.  I think Safe Travels for cruise to Hawaii is going to be a requirement.

You can use Clear Digital Pass to show your booster.  Booster not showing on Common Pass.

    2.  prescription was not mentioned when I just bought two 2-Pack sets from OptumRx store.

    3.   Box shown below.

OptumRX store 2 pack total cost 69.99.  No tax.  No cost shipping.  Note expiration date of 10/13/2022 maybe fixed.  Received today Mon Dec 20.

JUST RECEIVED A NEWLY MANUFACTURED 3 PACK TEST KIT!

Ordered through the Optum store on December 15th.

    Delivered on December 17.

    Manufacture Date:  2021-12-03.

    Expiration Date: 2022-10-13.

The website did have the caveat that tests could be expiring as soon as early February.

I hope this is a sign that the 'expired' tests inventory is now empty.

This is very good news regarding the expiration date.  This has to be the true expiration date.

    Thanks

Hopefully this is the last question from me on this thread.....we have appointments for testing at 10:30 and 10:45 two days prior to our cruise.  Our boarding time is at noon.  For those of you who have been there and done this....those times are okay correct?  It does not need to be 48 hours, it can be two days as anytime two days prior.  Know I'm just getting paranoid....but it would be good to hear from someone who was just over 48 hours, yet two days prior.

    ====

    use days not hours.

    e.g.

Fri to Sat = 1 day

Sat to Sun = 1 day

For a Sunday departure you need to not test before Friday anytime.  This satisfies the two day requirement.
