Fingers crossed... Oasis 11174? Bed by balcony or bath?

Even though our cruise on Oasis isn't until next June, I am enjoying the planning stage! We are considering renting a car in Orlando and driving over to Port Canaveral the day before departure so that our teenage boys can enjoy NASA. I have heard that the shuttle buses for the rental car agencies (we will be using National) can be crowded and take a long while on embarkation day. What has your experience been? Would it be better for my husband to drop us all off at the dock (with our luggage) and then return the car, or could we all go together to return the car and take the shuttle to the dock?

On my last cruise, I noticed that I was drinking more before I started to "feel it". I could certainly taste the alcohol in the drinks, so I don't think they were particularly weak. On that cruise I was also wearing one of the motion sickness patches. That led me to wonder if the patches minimize the effect of alcohol. Has anyone else experienced it, or am I just crazy?!

On Chrome on a Windows machine, you can clear your cookies for a particular site fairly easily. First, go to the website for which you want to clear the cookies.

 

1. In the address bar, directly to the left of the URL of the page, click on the 'i' that has a circle around it.
   
2. Underneath 'Cookies' click the link that'll say 'XX in use.'
   
3. In the popup box press remove until the white box in the middle is empty.
   
4. Press close at the bottom of the popup box and reload your webpage.

I have a cruise purchased and held on Oasis for next June. It has been linked to my Crown and Anchor profile. I would like to continue to price alternate cruises online, as we're still quite a way off. However, when I go to RC's website and select the plan a new cruise tab, a new, blank window opens but nothing else. I have tried everything!! I've restarted my laptop, tried from other devices, etc. Has anyone else had this happen? I can see my current cruises and can navigate the site once I have logged in, but even then I can't search for new cruises. Weird! Any help would be appreciated!!!

For our cruise next June on Oasis, we are considering a cabin located on deck 14, directly below the arcade. Does anyone know if we would hear noise from the arcade on deck 15 in our cabin? Particularly at night, do they shut the games/noise off and close the arcade, or is it something that could be running 24/7?

Our family will be cruising on Oasis next June. Our rising high school Senior will be with us, and he is very excited to be stopping at St. Maarten, as he plans to be a pilot and absolutely loves watching the crazy airport arrivals there. We were brainstorming last night about his casual senior pictures, which will be taken next summer. We always prefer to stage those pics in a way that highlights that child's interests. As he is a pilot in the making, he suggested we have them taken as the planes land at St. Maarten in the background. It's a crazy idea, but it would be really cool if we could make it happen! Does anyone know if we could get one of the professional photographers from the ship to come with us and take those portraits? Obviously, we would expect to pay a hefty fee! OR has anyone had experience with photographers on the island who were excellent (like maybe a wedding photographer) that you would recommend? Thanks in advance for any suggestions!!!

My 14 year old son would like to dive during our cruise on Oasis in June 2018. He is considering getting his scuba certification prior to the cruise, but because he will be under 15 (his birthday is the week after we get back), he will only have his junior certification. Will he be able to participate in any of the scuba excursions, and will my husband have to accompany him (he's not certified but will become so if necessary)? I'm completely clueless when it comes to scuba, so any advice would be really appreciated!
