Glad you got one. I never did receive my Wonder block from Oct./2022 cruise. Oh well, win some, lose some. I did fill out a form on the cruise, as they were out, but it was never mailed either. Guess it won’t be now.

Call C&A.  That happened to me on the Wonder in 2022 and C&A mailed one to me.  Or, if you sail on the Wonder again explain what happened to the LA.

Don’t know why people are surprised. Celebrity and Royal say it could take up to 30 days for points to be added.

True.  But in the past when a past cruise points changes from “0” to a number, the total points also changes.  This is the first time that it did not.

Well, according to their own bean-counter reports, they are spending less on food per passenger.    Considering how much inflation has hit my grocery bill, it seems impossible for the quality to have *not* tanked if the food budget has gone down.

Reminds me of a place I used to work.    A manager would get a great idea for a morale booster, once they cooked steaks for everyone for some company anniversary.   A high-up manager mandated that the steaks be 'huge, as in hang off the edge of the plate."  The steaks were less than a 1/2" thick and shoe leather.  I took it home thinking my eat-anything cat would enjoy it.  Nope.  He didn't recognize it as food.   One other time they got everyone white polo shirts with the company name on it.    Fabric was so thin and transparent that even men wore an undershirt underneath.

Did it survive the first laundry trip?  I had one that fit my six year old after being washed once in cold water.

But how much did those 360 points cost 🤔😱

Still 130 points away from Elite plus ,

we did get screwed out of 28 points on one cruise

First booked an OV than there was a price drop and upgraded to a balcony for the same price ( not with the upgraded bid) with the travel agency

Celebrity opinion since we book an ov we only get points for an ov

and under the opinion that since it was with a travel agency and not a bid up promotion we should get the balcony point 🤬

Same thing happened to me on two cruises that were back to back.  I am still mad about those points that I did not get.

Of course if you bought it then you are making out great.  However, at the time it was unknown if Royal would even survive or if cruising would fundamentally change forever and/or cease to exist for the mass market.  Luckily things got back to mostly normal.   But there was certainly a lot of risk involved, and that is why you now enjoy the reward (as it should be).

I agree.  It was a roll of the dice.

I look at the first 100 shares bought at $19.50 as cruise OBC. We have already gotten back out initial 100 share purchase in cruise OBC with the 20+ sailings. The credit we receive for our future RCL cruises is just free money. I don't know of another investment that I enjoy so much which rewards me at least 5% ROI for each cruise.

Fortunately, many of us were able to purchase OBC stock far from the 5 figure amount mentioned by topnole.  I was able to purchase 100 shares for less then $2,200 in March 2020,  I am enjoying cruising with free money on each cruise.

We bought our shares solely for the OBC.  We only follow what it's doing out of curiosity.  We're meeting with our CFP in about 30 min and he sees the stock the same way we do.  We have other stocks in our IRA's that have been much more profitable.

We did the exact same thing and bought  200 shares at $21.  When we explained the OBC to our financial advisor, he agreed it was a no brainer.  We sail a lot and by the end of this year we will have earned more OBC then the stock cost.

    $100 barrier is passed.

Currently holding 200 shares at $79. I'll be hanging on to 100 shares of RCL for the OBC until the end of time, but I might sell 100 shares if it goes up another $10 or so. That'll cover the cost of a cruise for me and the wife!

I have 200 shares bought in March 2020 at $21.  If I do sell shares, I will keep 100 for the OBC.  I will earn enough stock OBC by the end of this year to cover the cost of the stock purchase.
