hi there. With our flights and commute we should arrive at Port Canaveral around 9am. Our checkin time is 1pm. Any tips or recommendations of places to relax in that area for about four hours? Thanks

hello there. We arrive in Orlando at 7am and plan to go straight to port for 1pm checkin time on Breeze this December. Any tips on easiest way to get an Uber? Or can recommend a cheap and safe way to get to port? Thanks.

hi there! Looking for the best car rental site after getting off the Breeze in early December. Deciding between Budget and Avis. And thinking of paying the extra for cab from port to car site rather then free shuttle to avoid lineups when arriving at car rental site. Thanks.

Thanks everyone for the replies. It appears from many answers here, that I will be able to check in with my final payement due not yet paid in full. Cheers!

hi there. My “online check-in” time is available a few weeks before my final payment is due. Am I able to check in online before my balance is due? Or does it show an earlier check in time available but only providing I have payed the balance by that date? Thanks.

I was unable to find and book an excursion for Salsa & Salsa Cozumel through the Carnival website. The great people from Salsa & Salsa replied to me today and hope this helps. Cheers!
“We are located in the Hotel Cozumel and Resort. You may use the hotel facilities including the pool and beach area after the show. We are anywhere from 5-10 minutes from the port piers, depending on which pier you come into. The cab ride is about $12 USD more or less. Carnival is no longer handling our bookings, so if you wish to join you may book directly with us.”

Thanks everyone for the detailed info. I did not know there was a difference between check in time and boarding time. Now I know. Cheers!

hello there. I would like to be one of the first to check in for my cruise so that I can get one of the earliest check in times available as I was not able to get Faster To The Fun. If my check in time is September 6, does that mean I can check in online at 12:01am Miami time on the 6th? Thanks for any info.

When will you let us know?
Sorry for the delay. Lol.
These rooms are much bigger then the regular rectangle long rooms. They include a little sitting area with a mini couch. And as someone mentioned you are in a little area that has a secluded hallway. Almost no foot traffic as that hallway is only used by about 5 rooms. It was so quiet.
Loved the square room that I totally lucked out and got the same room for back to back cruises on deck 8 on the Horizon later on this year.
The rooms seem to be almost twice as big as other interior rooms I have been in.
Hope this info helps. Sorry no photos or videos.
Cheers!

we have a Jeep rental for a Wednesday in November at Cayman Auto Rental as they are close to port. Any tips or advice for getting around the island? Places we must see? And is parking at beaches free? Thanks.

hello there. I have read that the Horizon has a larger Pig and Anchor then on the Vista. On the Vista is was outdoors and always lined up. Does anyone know if we can visit the new larger and partially indoor Pig and Anchor on the Horizon and eat there on lunch sea days and more importantly diner every night for free? Or does it have an extra charge for diner time eating? Thanks.

hi there. We are doing back to back cruises this December on the Horizon. Besides havinh the pools all to ourselves, is this the best time to do laundry in their laundry room? Some sites show the laundry rooms closed while docked? Any other tips on what we should do with ship empty of cruisers? Thanks.

Thanks for the info!
We stayed in 8414/8416. Loved them! It wasn’t much extra room, but it was nice having the extra space. My in laws requested an arm chair be brought in for relaxing during the day. I would do again in a heartbeat. I also like being in our own little hallway. Seemed quieter.Sent from my iPhone using Forums

hello there. Has anyone stayed in the square shaped interior rooms on the Vista or Horizon Deck 8 (8481,8479...)? And if so, how are they different better or worse than regular rectangle interior rooms? Thanks.
-
Yes you can

hello there, doing back to back cruises on the Horizon this December. Any tips or advice for such a long time at sea? Or best things to do for a few hours on the ship between the disembarkation and embarkation of the second cruise? Thanks.
-
Thanks!
you can board with no lines in a separate area. The time between the guests disembark and the next cruise starts is dead on the ship. All bars and food service will be closed, including the water park. We hung out on the empty Serenity area between 10-11. The have to reset all the bar computers. Since we were already aboard for a week the Serenity Bartender knew us, as soon as he opened we called out my name and we had the first drink. -
It will be on Carnival horizon.

hello, my girlfriend and I are doing back to back cruises this November out of Miami. I know that on disembark day after the first cruise we get a new sail and sign card and can stay on the ship with almost no one around.
If we decide to get off the ship and visit South Beach for a few hours can we get back on the ship quickly since we already have our new sail and sign card or do we need to stay in a long lineup to get back on?
And secondly, and secrets or tips or advice if we should stay on the ship between the cruises? Besides the obvious shorter food lineups or waterpark lines etc...
Thanks.

Thank you. I hope they will not have an issue if I politely ask for multiple orders of those yummy lobster tails.
-
Wow. Great photo! Thank you so much.

On a Vista 8 day cruise soon. How many nights can I expect lobster on the menu at YTD in the main dining room? Thank you.
-
hi there. I am reading different threads about how many plugs or outlets there are in an interior Vista room. Can anyone please confirm how many there are? Thanks.

Thanks! Will do :)
