I read it that way as well

This is not entirely true. My policy allows cancel for any reason as long as it is purchased before final payment. It is only 70% coverage but would be better than losing 100%It's too late to buy insurance for "cancel for any reason"...you must do that within a VERY short time(like less than 10 days or so) of your original booking.....just like you can't add "flood insurance" as the river is rising!!!Sent from my SM-G935V using Forums mobile app

In locked suitcase under the bed maybe? Honestly not sure but maybe simply getting valuables out of sight is enough for most.Just watched some videos on youtube about hacking a hotel safe. Looks easy as pie to break into one. Now not sure what to do with valuables.Sent from my SM-G935V using Forums mobile app

For me it is a way to go ahead and book the room I want on a cruise in 2019 without locking up a large sum of cash. I am wanting to book a cruise for spring break 2019 for my husband, myself and my 2 daughters. This will allow me to book it for $200 as compared to $1000. Yes I still pay the same price in the long run but since I have 2 cruises between now and then it is important to me to not lock up an extra $800 in cash for well over a year.

Am I reading the fine print correctly that the deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable?
Yes they are on the Early Saver rates so they would be non-refundable since Carnival charges $50 to make any changes or cancellations on their early saver rate bookings.

It is taking everything in my power not to book another cruise now though. Damn Carnival and their cheap deposits.

It should not be too early. I booked and paid for my parking over a month ago leaving the same day on Valor. I did use EZ cruise instead of Park N Cruise though so maybe they are just ahead of the game.I have been trying to book and prepay parking for my Vision cruise on January 22, 2018 and the date of the cruise is not coming up on the websites for Park N Cruise or Port of Galveston parking. Is it still too early to reserve???? Anyone else trying to book for that time with better results???Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Have been wondering the same thing, I check pretty much daily for summer 2019. Since Vista is coming to Galveston we are trying to book something for either July 2019 or for Christmas/New Years 2019.

Thanks....maybe you can help me with this specific thing then....We are sailing from Miami on western caribbean itinarery. Our ship schedule says we will be in Cozumel 8am-5pm.....So is there anyway to know now with this information whether it will be 8am in Cozumel when we get there as well? Forgive my ignorance
Depends on when your cruise is scheduled. Daylight savings time ends on November 5, 2017 and begins again on March 11, 2018 so if you sail during this time the ship time and time in Cozumel will be the same.

I just tried it and all I had to do was log in with the information I used when signing up with the app in the first place. I am not an allstate customer.

Where do you buy the discounted giftcards? I have checked AARP and Verizon and saw nothing. We were going to buy ours at the Giant Eagle and then we get discounted gas points, for every $50 you get .10 cents off per gallon.
I got mine through Verizon. You just have to keep watching for them, they restock fairly regularly from what I can tell.

I paid for the cheers package all with discounted gift cards, so my cost per day is 51.60.
This is what I did also

Starbucks is almost directly across Harborside Dr. So you could always go hang out there for a bit if you didn't want ti stay at the pier or drop your bags and take a short walk around downtown Galveston.

Here is my coffee bar experience on the Magic Sept 3rd thru the 13th.
White chocolate Frap w/ $4.95
shot of Baileys (Mollys Irish Creme) $6.95
total $11.90
and so so so Yummy!!!!
This alone makes it worth it for me. I can easily drink 2-3 specialty coffee's a day along with 4-5 mixed drinks. Being able to add a shot of Bailey's to my coffee is just an added bonus.

No problem! In Cozumel, we did a two tank dive (we are both certified divers), and the reefs were absolutely gorgeous! So much coral and so many fish! In Progresso, we took the tour to Chichen Itza. The ruins were very cool to see but we wished we had more time to walk around, be prepared for long bus rides to and from the ruins...we still thought it was ultimately worth doing though!
Who did you use for your dive in Cozumel? We are thinking about trying a discovery scuba while there.

Thank you so much for this. My husband and I are on Valor in January for our very first cruise as well.

Left-center-right and Phase 10 is also a big hit. It is a card game that you can pick up for a few bucks pretty much anywhere board games are sold.

I second Jackson Square and the Fremch Market. Also Cafe Du Monde for coffee and beignets.
