  1. You mean the cabins on deck 11 and 12? Or Navigator Mexican route?
  2. Hello, We've only sailed in Oasis class before (Oasis twice and Allure once) and we're thinking of going on Navigator of the Seas this time. (We've also done Disney Dream, but that was 4 nights only). I want to manage my expectations and thought I'd ask you here. 🙂 1. One of the reasons why we were on Oasis class only is because I get seasick. It was the worst when I was on Allures going to Eastern Caribbean, and it was the least when I took Oasis from NJ - perhaps we're close to the shore? We're thinking of Navigator, going to Mexico, leaving from LA in the summer. Would the movement be an issue? where should we get the stateroom? We always have done mid/aft oceanview balcony and worked well. but again, this is a different route, and it is also a smaller ship, so not sure if the same will apply. 2. When we were on Oasis last year, we were pretty excited to be back as it says she was 'amplified'. Then we learned the cabins are not updated. It clearly was showing the age. Navigator being an older ship, would this be the same case? Is there a particular room/rooms where she'd be more updated? 3. Kids club - Oasis had a lot of kids - we sailed in last August and the ship was just massive. Will Navigator also have good number of kids? Our daughter wants to make friends (she is 9 y/o). We're also looking at the end of August sail - and was wondering what to expect since most of the California schools will be back. 4. I've heard the show quality is kind of so-so, except for the skating show. We were pretty big on broadway shows that Oasis class had - Hair Spray, Cats, Mamma Mia! -, and I dont know what the Navigator show is about. Is this a child-friendly show? And do they have other shows? - like the Aqua show? 5. I've also heard that you dont have to book the shows in advance - is that true? What about My Time Dining? 6. Service and food - I assumed this really varies ship to ship and time of the year, etc. I am okay if service and food is at par with my other cruise experience. Can anyone comment, if you have traveled recently? TBH, we did see the service level changed (to worse) last year, but we also had a benefit of the doubt that it is because they just came back from COVID and was hard to predict. I am hoping it will be a slightly better experience though. We normally don't do specialty dining. So our experiences are limited to Windjammer for lunch and MDR for dinner. Thank you so much!
  3. Yeah. I see it now. My travel agent's back up could not explain this at all to me. So we had no clue. So now it all makes sense. :). Thank you!
  4. Did the other couple travel without your party? Because that is what we are doing. We are traveling, but they are not due to COVID positive.
  5. I see. They are canceling theirs today. So i will check mine when that happens.
  6. Thank you. We are not from the same household, but from the app and my Royal caribbean account, we are showing as linked. We added each other to book dining together etc. And now we cannot un-link us. Would that be an issue?
  7. Thank you. I board tomorrow!!! 🙂
  8. I did answer the 3 questions. Hence the check mark. 🙂
  9. Thank you. Then what do I do with the linked dining reservations and check in stuff? It shows in my app.
  10. Hello. We are sailing on Sunday and I see "Almost ready" under my check-in (please see the pic). Can someone tell me if I am missing anything? I am worried what if I have missed something critical. FYI, we have negative COVID tests, which we will print and will have it handy for boarding. Thank you.
  11. So it turns out that our friend's family has COVID and cannot travel with us on Sunday. We have 2 separate reservation numbers and 2 separate rooms. - just a few doors down. Everything is linked in our Accounts and App - like check-in and dining. And when we wanted to unlink it, we were told that our booking is Group booking and done through Travel agent, so RCL cannot help us at all. AND my trav agent is on vacation and his back up has no clue what she is doing and left for home in the middle of conversation!!! If my friend cancels her cruise, what will happen to mine? We are already here and ready to sail. We have negative results too. Since I have only 2 days, I am very worried now. 😞

  13. We're going on Oasis the week after! So I assume that is after you come back, I will be on this boat! 🙂 I am so excited about our cruise! 🙂
  14. Oh I see. So there used to be uploading button, but no longer. I hope they accept our results - it's with lifecenters.ca. I've read some posts that they have sailed with Royal Caribbean with their results. Not yet. We test on Thursday. We are not sick and in perfect health, so fingers crossed!
  15. So how do I show them my COVID-19 testing result? I've read from other forums that people are saying they uploaded and accepted, etc. Since I will be doing my COVID-19 test with video proctors in Canada, I wanted to make sure they are accepted.
  16. Hello, I am one of those last batch of people who have to get COVID-19 test done, and I wonder where I upload the test results. I read that it is on the app, but I do not see it. Can someone please help me? Thank you!
  17. Would RCCL accept the green BTNX box (Ontario) and done through lifecenters.ca? And can we do the testing in the US in the hotel room? We plan to get to the port several days before and tour around, so was wondering what options we have. Its for August Oasis of the Seas leaving from NJ. Also can I use the phone to do it? Or do I need an iPod or computer?
  18. Hello, We will be on Oasis of the Seas in August and we want to visit NYC for a day. We plan to do Legoland New York for couple of days and then want to do NYC for 1 full-day (Sat) before the cruise and 1.5 days post cruise. And we're doing Sleep & Cruise near EWR, 7 day free parking. Should we park somewhere in New Jersey and take the PATH into the city? Or should we stay in a hotel overnight (Friday night) and leave the car there and take the public transit into the city? What about when we come back from the cruise? Should we leave our car at the hotel there and go directly to NYC and stay in the city for 1 night? If yes, what would be the best way of getting to NYC? Thank you.
  19. What would be the best way to get to Cape Liberty from Elizabeth area? We got a hotel (stay and cruise) there and I wonder if Uber/Lyft would be a good option. How much should I expect? Also, is there wi-fi at Cape Liberty cruise terminal? FYI, we are 2 adults + 1 child and most likely 3 carry-on's or 2 medium sized suit case. Thanks!
