  1. All I ask of RC is let me know by Friday, either way.

If airports aren't up and running , and roads from the airport aren't operational on FRIDAY, CALL IT. Cancel the the cruise. You may lose money on this one cruise, but you will create a lot more good will that you gave us enough time to change our plans. And we WILL book with you again. And even if you are not sure, call it anyway!

If you wait until I get there on Saturday, assuming my flight can land, and then tell me on Sunday we're not going like you did to the passengers of the cruise of Aug 27? Uh no, I will not be cruising with you again. I will take my refund directly to another cruise line.

  2. I'm scheduled to be on the Liberty Sept 3. But since like many people, I need to fly in from somewhere else, and if I can't fly to Houston, and take the Royal Caribbean shuttle or other land based transportation to the ship, having the ship in port won't mean a hill of beans to me.

I would think the safest option, and my vote, is for a Miami departure on Sept 3, but probably not going to happen. RC will try to get back to Galveston.

The Port of Galveston posted to their Facebook this morning that the sea conditions are still hideous and not expected to change for the next 24-36 hours. Not in those words, but basic message.

Nothing I can do but wait.

  3. Mlife card ??

It's the player reward card for MGM properties, which is where most if the MyVegas rewards are used. If you don't play in Vegas, I think MGM also has properties in Detroit, Biloxi, and maybe others.

I believe you have to have one to redeem at a MGM property. You can sign up for one online here: https://www.mgmresorts.com/en/sign-up.html

MGM also has (or had) a partnership with RC, I get a free cruise every year based on my card level.

  4. Your gold coins for spending on rewards are combined on all the platforms. You should show the same total in all games. Only your playing coins are not. Make sure you're signed in with your Facebook account so the game coin totals get linked up. Link to your MLife card too.

  5. I've been playing MyVegas since the game first came out a few years ago and the additional platforms as they add them. I've gotten tons of free stuff in Vegas, and will be sailing on the MyVegas cruise on Sept 3 on the Liberty of the Seas. We got the free room but paid to upgrade to a better room.

Yes you get free points to play with everyday, but I've also bought a lot of chips over the years (don't ask me how much, I'm afraid to think about it lol) and that's what really moves you up. And some people even get a MyVegas host that can help them get free stuff in Vegas not listed in the rewards. The newer version of MyVegas has all new requirements to rate a host, and I don't think it will be as easy as before. I know I have cut way back. I love the PopSlots games, but damn they're ruthless! Huge periods of no bonus rounds, or you just miss it. And the number of gold coins you get vs. the MyVegas platform just aren't even comparable.

The games, points, and rewards were much better at the start years ago. Less bogo, and more straight up free ones. I have trouble now even coming up with things to spend my gold coins on.

  6. I have always used the weekly pill sorters where each day comes out for carrying with you, that way I lock the majority of my meds in the safe, and just carry with me each day what I need. But, I always bring a couple of extra days with with me just in case. I also have have an old pill bottle that I keep assorted otc pain meds, TUMS, etc. These are ALWAYS carried in my purse while traveling.

As far as answering to anybody either leaving the country, or returning to it, all my meds are listed on my pharmacy app.

In all my travels, and 13 cruises, no one has ever looked at them, much less questioned me.

And, my husband and I each carry a list of our meds, and doses. If we're ever incapacitated, first responders have a quick reference.
