The limit actually is that they can serve only that inventory that they've paid TABC tax on. If you look closely enough, you'll see the tax stickers on the liquor bottles behind the bar. Once they are far enough out, you see the bartenders put all those bottles away and bring out the inventory for the rest of the cruise.
Jump on that price.
We did!

Does the price ever go below 65.99?

okay- on Carnival, the drink package was not available on the first day (embarkation) at all I believe- so on a 4 day cruise you were charged 3 days for the package, and so on. So are you saying on RCI the drink package will be for the entire 4 days?
-
We are new to RCI- we have two cruises booked- a 4 day out of Galveston in late August and a 5 day in early December. Normally we have not bought the drink package when cruising- (Carnival)- mostly because we just don't drink enough-- however RCI has it on sale for 66.00 per day per person- and it seems like if you have more than 5 drinks this is a better deal. Just wondering what the total package cost with tax and gratuities. Also I am assuming on a 4 day cruise the drink package doesn't start until the first day out of Galveston? So it would be a 3 day package, correct?

We have cruised on other lines but I just want to make sure that AARP RCL gift cards can be used as OBC. (for alcohol)

I think the free bottle of wine is on elegant night also? I thought that I read that somewhere. Also- on another thread someone stated they brought a 4pack of wine - 187 ml each instead of the 750 ml bottle- does anyone know if this works?

We are looking for a carry on bag with shoulder straps that can hold 2 bottles of wine, six 12 oz Sprite cans, kindles, wallet. Any recommendations?

We just bought 4 tests from Optum for our upcoming cruises Oct 2 and Jan 8. With the 3 month extension it looks like we will not be able to use two for the Jan 8 cruise. Bummer. Original expiration date is 10-5-21.
-
We just got ours in the mail yesterday and they have an expiration date of 10/5. We ordered from Optum. I will check with them. Thanks for the heads up

I am still waiting for my emed order that I placed Sept. 8. It was to be delivered by FedEx on
Sept. 10. When I checked status late that day using my tracking number, it took me to FedEx which said POTENTIALLY DELAYED. An update was added yesterday (Saturday 9/11) that said it has at least arrived in Houston where I live. Hoping it comes tomorrow. I don’t need it until next month, but it would be peace of mind to have it.
We ordered ours late 9/8. It is now in Houston and scheduled for delivery tomorrow

Sorry. I did notice the Navica app on the box. How nice that some places are providing tnem free of charge. We paid 140 plus shipping for 4 tests.

So I ordered the two pack from optum. I just used my name when ordering. Will my wife be about to use the second kit or does she have to order one under her name?
I did the same thing. I just sent them an email for clarification. I ordered two 2 packs.

I just ordered two sets for myself and husband. We cruise Oct 2 and then Jan 13.

EMed is out of stock. Has anyone used Optum to order these tests?
-
Has anyone used this site for the telehealth test? It is the Abbott test. Emed is out of stock.

Sienna Plantation is under mandatory evacuation.

I live in Houston. I cannot imagine a ship either docking or departing Galveston anytime before Tuesday.
-
And I certainly don't know where the people getting off the ship's would go. Most roads are not safe right now
-
Exactly. Tornado warnings hourly. And it is still raining Houston and Galveston are not where you want to be for the next several days
I have searched RCI-- how do I cancel an upcoming cruise?

I booked on their website- how can I find out if my deposit is non-refundable and how can I cancel the cruise? Unexpected surgery coming up-
