I must have missed out. I've been in a grand suite several times and never got strawberries.

Same here, never got any strawberries. However I don't like strawberries so I didn't care.:classic_tongue:

Both rooms appear to be 185 sq ft. Do you need/prefer daylight? How often you plan to use your balcony? Were you going to have breakfast/coffee there? Were you planning to read/relax there? The only perk for Havana I see with the interior is use of the Havana pool until 5pm.

Maybe am wrong but I thought Havana cabins had exclusive use of the pool until 7:00pm not 5:00pm.

-- most passengers were polite, but there was one otherwise-decent group that was playing their F-bomb and S-word laced "music" in one of the aft hot tubs on a loud Bluetooth speaker.  I instantly thought of a recent thread here about that very scenario. --

To bad no one accidentally on purpose knocked the speaker into the hot tubs.

  4. Apologies for causing irritation, I was just curious if anyone did this and regretted it or had some words of wisdom. Thanks for all the comments from those that were polite [emoji3] much appreciated!

There no need to apologize. You just witnessed the arrogance of someone who thinks that there's is the only way of doing things and we should all follow their example.

  5. Sorry, anyone that does the same ship, to the same ports is simply just missing out. Too many cruise lines, too many ships, and too many destinations available to do this.
Yes, it is but I stand by my statement anyhow. There are lot's of cruiselines and lots of ships. No reason to do the same ship to the exact same ports. There are two aspects that are important to me when cruising and that's the ship and where we are going. I look to make both new and exciting even if means sailing a new line or at least a different ship on a specific line. You'd never catch me sailing the Liberty to Cozumel, Costa Maya, and Jamaica more than once in our lifetime. Sorry, that's just not worth my money. I'd rather sail a different line and/or ship on that itinerary to at least get something new out of it even if it means paying more and taking Princess, Holland, MSC, etc. If you've done 80 cruises, I get it. If you've only done a few and you're doing that already I feel sorry for you ....... People that do this are simply too nervous, or too cheap, or too scared to go outside their comfort zone and fear being disappointed. They'll tell you it's because they had fun but I beg to differ. These are the same people that always eat at the same restaurant and get the same meal. Too risky for them to try something else and can't deal with possible disappointment. This is just like cruisers who have only sailed one line. In the end it's your money and do whatever you want with your money.

Where do you get off telling anyone that if you don't sail the way that you sail there doing it wrong?

  6. Oh that lousy port of Galveston. Fog, floods and an old ugly town.

Why do people have to be rude? I live close to Galveston and it is a wonderful island. I have sailed many times from there and NEVER had a problem.

It seems every post this person makes is negative. If you want to be so nasty, try That OTHER social media, where people like this post frequently. But most people on cruise critic are planning wonderful vacations and are happy and excited!
