CCL stock has been a very good purchase for me. It has essentially paid itself back in the 3 odd years I have had it :) and it's now worth almost twice what I paid for it :) .

The drink package has a value as well. Many times you can give back the drink package and they will apply some on board credit . It's not 100% of the cost to purchase , I think it is somewhere between 50-60 % of the value. If you look on your cruise personalizer it may list the value there .

I hate the muster on the Royal class because I am usually assigned Muster station B which is 8 floors down from Lido . BTW enjoy the ship, I just disembarked today and I had a great time .

If you look 2 floors above you on the deck plans, you will see that you are under the Retreat Pool area. The Retreat Pool would drop down into the floor above you, so I would assume right above you would be whatever plumbing, mechanics, etc are needed to support the pool.
Great point and makes perfect sense. I have been in Lido deck cabins in every cruise I have taken on the Royal class and never noticed it until now .

I just realized you are in an inside cabin. It a hallway with no doors other than this one on the starboard side (right)

I am on it right now and I think it's just an overhang , but I will check . Keep in mind there are only passenger cabins from Lido deck above you

My November Royal cruise had them . Ask the steward , if you don't see it. My guess is that it's getting mixed up in all the other paper they leave for us lol.

Yup and they can show them out at sea as well. This was thanksgiving and we were on the Royal during a sea day .

Yes a senior moment-I can't fax I and I know I have emailed my stock holders pages for OBC credit but for the life of me I can't find the email address for princess. someone save me!
Unfortunately, it is my understanding that you cannot email the request for OBC in the US . If you are working with a TA , they may be able to assist you. You can also mail it in .

I bought my DW a quality snorkel life vest on Amazon. It was only about the cost of two rentals if. It less and it folds easily into a very small package you could almost stick in a pocket.

Might be the content . I have been on both the Regal and most recently the Royal and the screen was always bright and sharp (near HD quality if not actually HD) . It is also one of the biggest at sea. On my recent Royal cruise during Thanksgiving, I was actually impressed how well he football games looked, both at night and during the day.

Were the long lines only on the last day since it takes time to choose photos for the entire cruise?
We also noticed those fewer shots at stations. They are also not visible for a longer period at the MDR on formal nights.
The longs lines were off and on for the entire cruise , but probably they worse at the beginning.
The process is that after you pay , they would take your order and whatever prints you had collected to that time and then the next day you would come back and pick up your memory stick and initial set of prints. The lines were because there was a separate line to pick your initial order from any subsequent order.
After you have your stick, you could come back at any time , collect any prints you wanted and they would scan the barcode so that the digital files could be uploaded onto the stick they gave you . Quick and easy :) .
Once people got used to it , the whole process went fairly smooth. We would pass by every evening or two collect our prints and have them uploaded.

It was offered for the entirety of our Nov 16th cruise on the Royal and I actually started a thread on it. I was hoping that they would keep it and expand it to other ships.
I know that during our cruises there were several people moaning about one thing or another and forgetting what a bargain it was and how much of a savings they were enjoying. In our case , we ended up with about 50 pictures and the digital copies and in fact one of them is our Christmas card portrait for this year. We ended up with that many and for sure we were NOT taking every opportunity for a photo.
One observation, the photographers were taking fewer shots at each station . Typical 2-3 whereas in the past it would be 4-5 per sitting .

That sounds really strange . That is one of the first things i do as well as get some wine glasses. Usually if we don't have he beverage package I get 3-4 beer packages , rum and crown. I normally ask for the rum and crown and one of the buckets along with the glasses . The only delay is if it's close to muster still time , then they come shortly afterwards .

This past June , I really thought they would cancel our port stop in Turkey (Kusadasi). Fortunately, it was not cancelled and we were able to enjoy the area. The locals however all said there was about a 60% drop in port calls and it was hurting the economy.

As the others have said, I have always had the vouchers waiting for my orders. I call room service and it is quickly delivered. The only thing I can remotely think that could affect this is the port / state regulations. What port did you sail from?
Can I book this as a B2B?

I made sure to book a port side balcony so I can enjoy the view of San Francisco when we depart . It should be a beautiful view as it's a 2PM departure. It's also the side of the sunset on about 10 of the 14 days :) .
