Just spoken to the UK office and all is as planned at the moment. Apparently its the Captains decision and he will be in touch with Miami...... We will be advised via our travel agents of any changes.

My DH and I have been talking about it for the last couple of days and to be honest even if they pull Israel - I am still really looking forward to it wherever we end up.

This will be our third Regent Cruise - first on Mariner, and it will be great to just enjoy the rest and relaxation / even if they give us 3 additional sea days- I will make the most of it!

Totally agree, as I said in my post safety is of paramount importance, however what I am keen to understand is when Regent are likely to advise us, so that we can make informed choices.

Not sure if anybody can assist, we are sailing on 29th July from Istanbul to Athens - with a 3 day stop in Haifa Israel. Given the current issues in Israel does anybody have any experience of whether it might be pulled as a stop and what a Regent might do?

I know this is a but like gazing into a crystal ball, but having done all of the other ports on this cruise a few times before - Israel was to be the high point and the reason for booking - the cruise was also supposed to stop in Egypt but that also got pulled last year.

Not complaining at all as safety is paramount, but I just wondered how a regent might play this and when we might get informed of any changes to the routing?

We are booked on an excursion to the Dead Sea which is on my bucket list, this being the second time I have tried to float in it. The first time we were in Jordan on a weeks tour culminating in a couple of days at the Dead Sea - unfortunately it was too rough and we weren't allowed in...... One day.......

I have just done the numbers and if I cancel and forgo the deposit already paid, and rebook the same grade of cabin - I will still save myself £1,000 - hopefully sense with prevail with Regent - otherwise I am going to be left with a very nasty taste.....

Hi - I have booked to go on Mariner on 29th July, and have noticed that the price has reduced by around £1,000 per person since I booked (a signiciant amount equating to around 25% reduction from when I originally booked). DH is not happy as he was telling me at the time to wait as we would get a better deal closer to sailing......

The balance is due for payment next week, and I wondered what the chances are of me a) getting an upgrade or b) getting the reduction on the price? I am cool either way and would probably prefer the upgrade to a Penthouse from the current G grade I am in (there is slight price increase from what I am currently paying for G to the Penthouse grade)

I have asked my TA to look into it and she has spoken to Regent UK who apparently are having to speak to the US to get clarification.

Anybody from the UK experienced this before as there seems to be a whole different set of rules in place for us?
