  1. Hi all I need your suggestions, opinions and insight. My family of 4 will be landing at FLL around 11am we need to travel to Miami with a check in time of 3pm. Was thinking of taking Uber to Miami, but would train be better since it will take a bit longer, so we can kill sometime. We will also need to eat lunch/grab a bite to eat but don't know where since we will have our luggage. I have booked us through airbnb with a superhost at The Club, please give me your thoughts on this place/ location and do you know or have information if airbnb are allowed at this place. Thanks
  2. Can anyone tell me if Luxe Icon 4011and the Conrad(near the ocean on 12th) are they buildings that accept airbnb but also tell me about the location etc. I can't find any reviews on this place. Thanks
  3. Going the week of Feb 6th, a little after super bowl. Most likely will look in the South Beach or Downtown Miami area. Thanks
  4. Please recommend a hotel in south beach miami for Feb. I have looked at some 4 star hotels and the reviews for them are not that great. Will be there 3 nights with kids. Would the savings be better to stay a bit farther in Miami like near the airport / Dorel or Hilton Garden Inn or somewhere on the free trolley line rather than pay $300 to $500 per night for a nice clean hotel in South Beach or downtown Miami? Please give your suggestions. Thanks
  5. Looking at Feb 6 to 9. Saw the OB suites in Brickell, thinking if I should do that or stay at the Hilton Garden Inn, or stay somewhere on South Beach like the Shelly Hotel, or Chesterfield, or Catalina.
  6. Is there a trolley or some other free service that connects the Beach are of Miami with the downtown are of Miami? I am looking at the trolley service areas and cannot seem to understand if there is a trolley connecting the area? What would some of the paid options be if there wasn't a free service? Thanks
  7. Thank you for the mention of the free trolley, I did not know about that. Have kids and was wondering how to coordinate site seeing and everything. Going in Feb and prices are quiet high for the Mary Brickell downtown area. Thinking either Hilton Garden Inn or a hotel on South Beach.
  8. Is the Hilton Garden Inn / Brickell Financial Distict - too far from any restaurants, the metor mover? Does the metro mover have a bus that connects to the main metro mover?
  9. We will be in Cozumel and want to swim with Dolphins, please recommend some companies to look into. Thanks
  10. Thank you both for your replies, will look at hotels in Brickell/downtown.
  11. We have 2 days in Miami before our cruise, 2 adults 2 kids. One day will be spent at the Seaquarium and the other day will be roaming around the city. Is it better to look for a hotel in South Beach, or Downtown Miami or Brickell. We will not be spending our whole time at the beach, will go down to play for a bit, but we are not sit on the beach people. We will be relying on transit and Uber. Please give your suggestions.
  12. I will have the drinks package and would like to try a variety of drinks, like mimosas, bloody marys, but I want to know what else is available. I want to know the coffee liquor drinks and other drinks and specialty drinks that Royal Caribbean has. Is there a list somewhere of the various drinks that are offered?
  13. We will be there in February. Don't really have a budget, but hoping for hotel to be less than $200 per day. Want to do things the kids will enjoy.
  14. We fly in and out of Fort Lauderdale. Cruise is out of POM. There is 2 adults and 2 kids, one child needing a carseat/booster seat. Have about 4 days before the cruise and 1 or 2 days after the cruise. Want to go to the Sequarium, was thinking Evergaldes but seems hard with out having a rental car. Also want to try some alligator. I was advised not to get a rental car because finding parking in Miami is very hard and expensive. 1)With the above plans should we stay at the same hotel or move closer to POM on the last day? 2) Restaurant you recommend for alligator and frog legs. 3) Hotel recommendations for Miami and For Lauderdale. 4) What else should we do with the kids in Miami? Thanks
  15. I got the deal and the email. The only place I see that I have this deal is in order history. Am I supposed to see the drinks package on the calendar? Anywhere else?
