  1. there is another review for this tour from a thread started by Malakie just a ways down on this page. Check out that thread and there is a recent review of the Xrail tour there it says All Terrain Xrails. I did this tour no you don't go superspeed but it was in no way a turtle race either.

    Would you recommend it??

  2. I've read good and bad reviews about this one on TripAdvisor so I was hoping to hear what people here thought. The pictures look great but a TripAdvisor reviews reports the tour was slow moving. But I dont see how that could be possible, especially after doing the ATVs with WildTours. Hopefully we'll get a first hand report about this on soon.

  3. I just read about a new excursion offered in Cozumel called the ATX Rail Expedition and was wondering if anyone has ever done this. We have done the ATV excursion (thru Wild Tours) and this seems to be a new take on it in off-roading style dune buggy type cars.

Any reviews on this would be great.

    Thanks

  4. Does anyone know if there is a copy of the menu for the resturant (preferrably with prices) floating around for Playa Uvas? I tried to look thru the many pages of this thread but didnt find one and also went directly to Playa Uvas website but I think it is down as I am getting an error message about the domain name.

We are trying to decide if we should stay at PLaya Uvas for the whole day or move on someplace else to see more of Cozumel - so the big question was whether to have lunch and leave, leave and have lunch somewhere else or just stay for the whole day.

    Thanks.

  5. Oops, forgot you asked how much tip. We tipped the snorkel guide (roughly) 5pp & Kiko our awesome waiter got 10 from each of us, trust me, he earned it! I think I threw 10 into the bartender's jar (I'm not sure if anyone in my group gave any extra-like I said, tequilla talking!)

    Hope this helped. Have fun.

How much did you tip for the massages???

  6. We used Thrifty the last time we sailed out of Port Canaveral and there were no extra charges and they are only about 5 minutes from the port. But then again, this was about a year ago so maybe their policy has changed now and they charge. We are renting a car again in March with Enterprise from Orlando to Port Canveral and they will drop us of since there are no actual rental companies at the port.

We had looked into transfer, shuttles, limos, town cars, you name it we researched it, and to rent a car for the few hours or over night if you are flying in the day before has always been the cheapest. And plus, with a rental car, you can make any stops that you may want along the way.
