  1. May be just a Summit thing as muster drill is at 8 and makes dining challenging that night so Normandy was pretty empty. But I checked with the other 2 couples we were with and we definitely got free bottles of wine.

  2. Hi we will be cruising aqua class for the first time and have searched but have had little luck finding a list of must haves in Blu. I am wondering what are peoples favourite dishes that are not to miss. We are pretty adventurous eaters...

    Thanks Gail

  3. We have sailed on both lines and have to say what we have found is that they are both great for different reasons. On Carnival the entertainment on the Sunshine was the best we have ever seen on any cruise on the other Carnival ships not so much. On the Carnival Dream the steakhouse was fantastic but on other ships food not great. We always have a good to fantastic experience on Celebrity on Carnival it can really vary. With the kids we do Carnival for sure, adults only usually Celebrity. We do however love the Carnival short cruises for a weekend away.

  4. We cruised Celebrity 10 years or so ago and then again recently. I would say they now seem to cater more to the 30, 40 and 50's crowd more than they did before. The music was a mix of current popular and older popular music, the martini bar was a blast, Qsine was really fun, and the Summit had a great coffee shop. We just re-booked on the Summit again doing the opposite itinerary with the other couple we went with as they too had the best time.

  5. We take the $2 bus every time we go to Sapphire without issue. Bit of a walk down the hill to the beach but worth it to us. We have been there many days where it is rough and seemed to get deep pretty quickly so not great with little ones but the snorkelling is pretty decent and the beach is nice.
