On our last cruise the windows were dirty so the view was meh which is why I said this time it’s not worth the extra money to look out salt watered windows lol. Idk. I’m still torn. I’m not much of a room person. I like being out and exploring but the offer is still tempting because of the low price.

My initial thought in booking the inside on Lido was the cost savings, quick access to pool area and outside for lots of sea daysplus close to food and bars.

You may be right. It’s 2409. Right under the galley/mdr and across from elevators.

What is better. An inside on Lido or an ocean view on 2. We are booked on a 14 day cruise on the sunrise in an interior on Lido and was just offered an outside for a reasonable price.

Alchemy Bar is one of the main reasons I would book Miracle, I loved it when I was on the Sunshine.
Do they have the ingredients to make Caesars?

Quick question. Sorry to hijack. I just put in a request for the steakhouse on the first night of our cruise booked in January. Still waiting for a reply however is there a good chance it’s booked up already because of the free wine?

Per CCL FAQ:
"A small quantity of non-alcoholic beverages (i.e., sparkling water, sodas, juice, and milk) packaged in cans or cartons may be brought onboard on embarkation day and must be in the guest's carry-on luggage. A small quantity is considered a maximum of 12 sealed, unopened cans/cartons of 12 ounces each or less per person."
I am aware of the policy. My question was more about the nature of how picky they are with the quantity we are bringing. AKA a case of something vs separating 12 per individual.

Does anyone know what is being done to the Sunshine soon? We are cruising on her in January and I’m curious what they are doing. [emoji51]

How was your cruise and room location? We are booked Jan 4 on the Sunshine in the same location [emoji51][emoji51]

Oh believe me this is for mom and dad. Haha. It’s not really cans of pop I’m interested in. Thinking more along the lines of a case of Clamato for Caesars [emoji51][emoji51]

We stock up on floaties from the dollar store. They take up no room in your suitcase and are great for ports at the beaches [emoji51]

We are a large family travelling together and I want to maximize the amount of pop I’m allowed. We have 5 kids travelling with us. Will they care if i just carry 2 cases through check in or will they want everything separated per person?

If he doesn't want to eat with us for dinner, what do they do with the kids in his age group if he goes to camp?
Honestly, he has a long way to go before I will take him to the MDR for dinner. Right now at 4, he is noisy and has a loud voice. No way would I subject other people to that. We need to start working on his social skills - lol. He's a really nice, happy kid but likes to let everyone know how happy he is.
You can go to the Lido deck at 6 and they will feed the kids then bring them back to the club when they are done. You can enjoy your meal in peace

My husband and I are booked on a 14 day cruise next May and I just noticed it was a journeys cruise so I was curious. Thanks for the responses everyone.

Why not just hire a taxi? They know their way around and its much easier. Taxis can be hired for the day pretty reasonably around 50 or 100 depending on how long. Then you don't have to worry about the local traffic rules, roads and construction.
Because we are a large family. There is 8 of us.

Can someone please explain to me what a Journeys cruise has to offer that other cruises don’t? Is it just the length? Thanks.

Is there a website where I can find information on booking rental cars at the ports ahead of time? Or is there usually companies visible once you exit the ship? We are more interested in touring around ourselves than booking an excursion. TIA!

We have three cabins booked. One is an inside and we received an email today to upgrade to a balcony for “only” 1200.00. Umm. No. Lol.

I currently have 15 VIFP points. I am looking at booking a 10 day cruise for my husband and I which would put me into gold status with 25 points. Does that kick in after I cruise, on the last day of the cruise or prior to cruising?

I’ll be getting off the sunshine earlier that day [emoji51]

We are booked on a cruise out of New York next May and will be flying in the day before. What is the best place to stay that is not going to cost a fortune and is decent?
