  1. On our last cruise the windows were dirty so the view was meh which is why I said this time it’s not worth the extra money to look out salt watered windows lol. Idk. I’m still torn. I’m not much of a room person. I like being out and exploring but the offer is still tempting because of the low price.

  2. Per CCL FAQ:

"A small quantity of non-alcoholic beverages (i.e., sparkling water, sodas, juice, and milk) packaged in cans or cartons may be brought onboard on embarkation day and must be in the guest's carry-on luggage. A small quantity is considered a maximum of 12 sealed, unopened cans/cartons of 12 ounces each or less per person."

I am aware of the policy. My question was more about the nature of how picky they are with the quantity we are bringing. AKA a case of something vs separating 12 per individual.

  3. We are a large family travelling together and I want to maximize the amount of pop I’m allowed. We have 5 kids travelling with us. Will they care if i just carry 2 cases through check in or will they want everything separated per person?

  4. If he doesn't want to eat with us for dinner, what do they do with the kids in his age group if he goes to camp?

Honestly, he has a long way to go before I will take him to the MDR for dinner. Right now at 4, he is noisy and has a loud voice. No way would I subject other people to that. We need to start working on his social skills - lol. He's a really nice, happy kid but likes to let everyone know how happy he is.

You can go to the Lido deck at 6 and they will feed the kids then bring them back to the club when they are done. You can enjoy your meal in peace

  5. Why not just hire a taxi? They know their way around and its much easier. Taxis can be hired for the day pretty reasonably around 50 or 100 depending on how long. Then you don't have to worry about the local traffic rules, roads and construction.

Because we are a large family. There is 8 of us.

  6. Is there a website where I can find information on booking rental cars at the ports ahead of time? Or is there usually companies visible once you exit the ship? We are more interested in touring around ourselves than booking an excursion. TIA!

  7. I currently have 15 VIFP points. I am looking at booking a 10 day cruise for my husband and I which would put me into gold status with 25 points. Does that kick in after I cruise, on the last day of the cruise or prior to cruising?
