  1. When we went to Chichén Itzá, we had a choice of cruise excursion or make separate trip of it.  We decided to fly to Cancun and stay at an Xcaret resort with their excursion.  I wouldn't want to be so rushed on the time allowed on site with a shore excursion.  It takes a while to take it all in.

  2. My wife and I both have jobs that can work from anywhere and our last transatlantic we worked on the sea days.  This was NCL and the internet wasn't that great and it was difficult to take live meetings due to bandwidth/latency.  We do this to be able to take more/longer vacations and extend our travels.  I think RCL should offer a digital nomad level for people that would like to work during a cruise that is slightly more than the normal VOOM + Stream that would guarantee a minimum bandwidth per device and nothing blocked such as VPN, Zoom, Teams, Slack and various other work related apps/websites.  We would gladly pay $30-$40 / day / device for this type of service.

  3. I would have guessed that it was an algorithm that evaluates the maximum amount of money for NCL based on all submitted bids and rearranging cabins to determine the best combination.  So even though someone didn't have the highest bid, they may still win when the combination of all cabins/upgrades is the maximum amount of money for NCL.

We used our FCC from 2 cancelled cruises to pay for this cruise. We are now bidding for a spa balcony, if we try to move up to a spa balcony outright we would have to pay more than what we just paid for the spa passes, so is not worth it.

We were told we had to use our FCC from our POA cancellation on a single cruise fare only.  The most expensive non-haven was the spa balcony at the time.  Haven options were way more than our FCC so we decided to just go the spa balcony route instead.  If we were actually paying for it, we would have done a regular balcony and spa pass as well.

We always book the spa pass, is worth it to us no matter what. We currently paid the 399 for 16 days on the Escape in November.

We were going to pick up the spa pass for this sailing as well but decided to use our FCC on a spa balcony so that it was included.

  6. Does anyone know how long it takes for NCL to apply the FCC to our accounts?   We were cancelled for our 9/10 sailing on 8/8 and states that the FCC would be available on 8/9 but it still hasn't shown up.  We would like to schedule a replacement cruise shortly but even customer service says it isn't listed on my account.
