  1. Tried the app on my Samsung tablet this morning and everything that I had previously entered was green again. Then I opened it on my phone and everything is green there also, unlike yesterday evening when the travel documents had not. This must be something that was fixed on the Celebrity side, the app on my phone has not been updated since two days ago.

  2. Downloaded the Android app the day it originally became available. I am booked on an April 2020 cruise on the Crown. I was able to go into the Ocean Ready section and completed Security Photo, Profile Photo, Travel Documents, and Pin Code for my self and the Travel Documents for my wife. Those items showed as green at that time. Today I noticed the app had been updated so I logged in to see what had changed. The Travel Documents for both my wife and I are no longer green but you can clearly see that the passport information is still there. I then tried to hit the edit button to see if there might be further information about why they were no longer green, but the edit button was non-responsive.

     

    I know I have a long ways to go before cruise but just wanted to see if others have had this issue. I'm running on a Samsung Galaxy S9. I haven't tried the app yet on my Samsung tablet.

    Do not need the phone. Just lose out on some functionality.

    Between my wife and I we have 4 devices, a phone and tablet each. Princess is offering the 4 device package for $14.99 a day which would come out to about $225.00 for our cruise. Or we could each get the single device package for $100.00, or share the single device package, taking turn signing off and on. I want to make sure that signing on to the ships wifi for using Medallion services such as ordering drinks is separate from signing on to use the internet. Just trying to understand how this works so we can decide the best package for us.

  4. I have a question about ordering drinks when using the beverage package. If my wife and I are poolside, can I order 2 drinks at once from my phone, and then when they arrive scan both of our medallions, or do we each have to order our own drinks. I know this wouldn't be an issue if we were paying for the drinks, but on a beverage package they won't let you buy each others drinks.

  5. We don't leave for our cruise on the Crown until April 2020. However, I have been playing with the Ocean Ready app on my Samsung Galaxy S9. I cannot and dont expect to be able to add our cruise to the app at this time, however,  it allows me to put in my personal information and profile photo. My problem is that it allows entry of all fields except the zipcode field. It will not accept numbers, only letters. Numbers can be entered in address fields, phone numbers, just not zip codes. Anyone else have this issue? Where is the best place to report this issue?

  6. Will be cruising for our first time on Celebrity. (Equinox October 26) we went with the Go Best plan which gives us unlimited internet for two devices. On our last Princess cruise we had unlimited access for one device but were able to sign off and then use any other device, one at a time. My wife and I each have a phone and tablet. Will we be able to switch between them or are we each confined to using a single device?

     

    Looking forward to cruising on Celebrity.
