What pier does the Viva board at in San Juan ?
Once onboard, where do I go to get specialty dining reservations ?
Can anyone confirm that the comedy club is where you go to get galaxy pavilion passes? Is there a pass that gets you galaxy and go carts?
Thanks CC community!

Leaving in 16 days on the Viva and last minute just booked a thermal spa pass. When I called, they said only one was available ($299). I booked it but now am starting to think it might not be worth it.
What are the thermal spa hours?
Would it not be as “fun” by yourself?
We have plans/excursions every day except one and am second guessing how much time I would be able to go depending on the hours.
Thanks for all of your help CC!

How does Splash Academy break up the age ranges?

Is this always available? I’m on the Viva in March and my kids would love this!

Hi! Sailing NCL for the first time in March and was wondering if there is anywhere I can find what it costs to press a man’s dress shirt?
Also, is there a set price for a bag of laundry to be washed and folded?
thanks all!

Is booking the thermal spa pass something I should be able to do in advance or does that mean that it’s sold out?
Do they offer single day passes or is it worth it to book for the week?

I will be sailing on the Viva in March and my children are most excited about the Galaxy Pavilion. I have a couple of questions:
I thought I read somewhere on here that the hours are limited throughout the day, is this accurate?
Is there a weekly pass you can purchase, and if so, do you do so onboard? I only saw the arcade pass on the app.
Thanks!

Think it was about US $40 each way plus tip ($50 total)
Same driver out was booked for the timed return. Driver for return arrived early, which was appreciated.
Thank you so so much!

Thanks so much for the information!
Approximately how much for the cab ride?

How difficult is it to get there from port?

@kitkat343hi! Would you recommend getting a tour guide for the Animal Flower Cave?
-
@blue_water thanks for the suggestions. I see that you have posted that the ferry is close to the port, Road Town, right?
the return is at 3:30pm, do you think that’s cutting it too close?

Hello! Hoping you all can help answer a few questions.
I have the free at sea beverage, internet and 2 specialty dining; I’ve already added the remaining days for specialty dining but is it worth it to do the premium plus drink package?
My main concern is bottled water, and what is considered “top shelf”?
Our cruise also went down in price from where it was and they repriced us before the final time. It’s gone down a little since then, and it looks like a club balcony suite is available for around the same price we are currently paying, can I switch to that type of room or is it too late? Our cruise is in March.
thanks!

@blue_water hi! We’re open to either of the options. We’re on the NCL Viva, 3/18 in Tortola from 8-5.
we did book a private boat on the last day in St Thomas because my children loved it last time we were at that port.
-
Hello -
I’ve never been to Tortola and my children really want to do the Baths while we are in port, I’m having a hard time finding the ferry schedule for March and was wondering if it’s best to just charter something or go through the cruise line. I think we are the only boat in port that day. 3/20/24
any recommendations?
thanks!

Can anyone tell me what you get if you add “touch of romance” to your booking?

We were in a Junior Suite on Ovation a couple of weeks ago and had the refillable bottles like @Tin can mentioned. They are not a brand I’d heard of but they are separate shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Also had a bottle of lotion by the sink. They all worked fine and smelled nice. Much better than the 3/1 combo they have in the regular rooms.
By any chance was it Malin and Goetz?
-
Silly question, but what kind of shampoo and conditioner is in the junior suites on Ovation of the Seas? I leave next week and was checking to see if I need to pack some depending on the brands.

I would ring RC, explain your travel agent is unavailable. I have been successful in getting them to sort out issues, even when booked through agent, it’s only a phone call and you might get what you want.
Thanks for the suggestion. I tried twice and wasn’t successful. Oh well.

Perhaps. Royal typically won't deal with you if there is a TA involved. I'd take a screen shot though and send that to the TA. Perhaps that can help. Youi might also want to check to make sure the new price does not cost you anything, like OBC. My experience is that repricing the cruise can.
Thanks! I don’t have any OBC. I sent her a screenshot of the GS offer. I’m
guessing I’m going to lose the offer … maybe Royal Up will be available.

I am booked on the Ovation of the Seas for a 7/8 sailing in a JS, and am past the final payment. I booked with a TA that some of our group used. Today, I see that a GS is available for a small increase and our “TA” is unavailable and not responding to emails/calls. It looks like this price/room is available at the price due to a promo that expires at the end of the day. Am I out of luck?

Hoping you guys can help me with a solution to keep track of the kids on the ship. Does RC offer anything (bracelets to track the kids like some other ships do). We would like to let them hang with their friends who we are traveling with around the ship without kids club but weren’t sure of the options.
thanks!

We cruised in March 2019 on Nieuw Statendam with our twins, who are 6. They ABSOLUTELY loved Club HAL and are begging us to go back on another Holland America Cruise.
