We will be first time Celebrity cruisers and first time in Concierge. I'm wondering if you could help myself and others like me to know what should be present. Someone mentioned a checklist. I don't want to assume or ask for something that is not part of the service.

Can I ask if all future March sailings are out of Miami or just this one? We are sailing later in the month and under the impression we leave out of Fort Lauderdale.

I read in a similar pat that they sell the packages on board for a discount...do I buy now or wait until we get on board?

I am sailing on the Silhouette in March. It appears that if we purchase a dining package ahead of time, that it saves money rather than booking individual specialty restaurants once on board. I know I want to do the Lawn Club, Muranos and possibly Tuscan - any advice here will be helpful.

If I purchase a 3 night package, do I decide which restaurants and when? Or do they just assign so I might not get what I want?

Hello fellow cruisers,

First time in a 15 years that we have cruised...back in the day they didn't have packages:) I am looking to drink lots of water. I don't need premium water just regular bottled water is good. Also, I love specialty coffees like Lattes, Espressos, etc. I will most likely get a fruity drink during the hot days by the pool and have a drink (martini or similar) and a glass of wine at night.

Does that sound like it would add up to $55/day? I am trying to decide if I should just pay as I go or get a package. I don't know how much coffees cost or if water is free or not. I imagine my alcoholic drinks will be between $6-11.

I appreciate any advice!

How do you upgrade after final payment?

My aunt and cousin were on the ship. My cousin got sick with fever chills a,d very bad cough. Fever has since subsided but cough very bad still. My aunt is fine so far. They are from Michigan so probably just a virus if not flu bug. A lot going around.

Any other info on staff from silhouette?

hello! First time cruiser on celebrity silhouette. We have not been on a cruise in 15 years! When we did cruise we always chose late seating dining so we weren’t rushed out of the sun or daytrips and enjoyed the second seating shows. I have requested the 8:30 seating but I am concerned that we will miss the shows. Should we switch to early seating? I have read that the shows are 7 & 9. Is 9 the late showing? We were used to a 10:30/11 show on Royal Caribbean.
