I have taken Amtrak from Boston to Newark Penn on the day of my cruise for my last four cruises and am doing it again this Thursday. I usually take a train that leaves between 6am and 7am (depends on day of the week and whether it is the Regional or Acela) and then an Uber to the port. I am usually onboard by 12:30pm
