  1. Just got off the Sky on Saturday January 22,2022.  They are offering EZCheck!!!! They did not place the information in our stateroom.  I was at guest services and asked about it and they said yes they offer it. It has to be turned in on Wednesday by noon. You will need flight information and paperwork with your confirmation number. They will want to see your paperwork. So easy disembarking when you do/are able to use ez check.

  2. Just off a b2b cruise on the Sky.  The OBC is carried over from the first cruise to the second one. They explained this at our transitional  meeting. Covid Testing was done on Saturday morning and it took less than 5 minutes to get this done.

Could you tell me which clinic that is?  We have the home kits but I'm paranoid about them since I've read the liquid in some came dried up, etc.  Would just like a backup 🙂

Lab Doctor is right down the street from the Embassy suites. 1425 SE 17th street. Phone # 954-530-4447. Walk in Rapid  Antigen test is $49.00 and you get paperwork of your results. They do not take insurance. I emailed them today and they responded immediately. I also spoke to them the other month and very nice. They are open mon-fri 8-6 : Saturday 8-2 and Sunday 10-3 for covid testing only. Hope this helps!

Has anyone used Instant Medical Care on 17th Street in Fort Lauderdale for pre-cruise Covid testing? If you could describe experience and cost, that would be helpful. Thanks and Happy Holidays.

Have not used them. Plan to use Lab doctor on 17th street in a few weeks. They do the antigen test and is $49.00.  No appointment needed for the testing. You may have to wait awhile, to get tested, but get results within 30 minutes or so. I called them to verify that they do the test and the price.

Our cruise leaves Dec 26.  I can't find a place locally that will be doing tests on dec 24 or 25.  I have ordered the at home tests instead and I hope there will be staff working on those days to watch us do the test and certify the results.  Sheesh I never thought booking this cruise would be so stressful.

Check out Beepermd.com. They will come to the hotel and do the test. You do need to make an appointment with them.  I will be calling them first of the week to verify information. From what I have been told, if there are two of you getting tested, there is no charge.

We have the same predicament.  Our cruise is January 2022.  We spend most of our day (Tuesday) flying to Fort Lauderdale and sail Thursday so we'll need to be tested Wednesday.  This is according to Princess website:  "For example, if sailing on Sunday, the test may be taken on Friday and Saturday, and as late as Sunday, if you are guaranteed to receive your results in time for check-in."

If sure would have been easier for peeps traveling long distance to port if the 3 day timeline was kept.  Things may change by then.

Check out Lab Doctor at 1245 SE 17th street in Fort Lauderdale. Just a few minutes from Port everglades. They do antigen test ($49.00) and walkin ins. I have called them last week to verify. Also, the airport does the antigen testing, with proof that you flew into FLL.

No Rapid Antigen testing anywhere around here under 300. so will make an appointment through Princess 10 days before boarding for 100.  I appreciate the great advise.  Really put my mind to ease. Thank you so much.

When do you arrive  in Florida?  If you are there a day before you cruise, check out Lab Doctor at 1425 SE 17th street. They do the antigenand the price is $49.00. This is an uawesome gent care and no appointment necessary.  Think they close at 5:00. This is just a few minutes from Port Everglades.

If you are flying into Fort Lauderdale the airport does the antigen test. Just have to show plane ticket. Not sure what the price is.

  11. Wowzz....  we have been on the sky before covid. We were always at the gym about 5:00 am and maybe one or two other people in there. Has elliptical, tread mills, bikes, weights. Also classes you can sign up for. Folks usually go there mid morning and early afternoon. At least that is how it was two years ago.

Not a waste of space, for those who want to exercise and have their desserts. I exercise for my health and the desserts. My husband and I are both in our late 60's.

  12. Yes there are connecting mini suites. We were on Royal, I believe, and had a mini suite that had the connecting door to the mini suite next to us. You can also have the partition on the balcony unlocked so you can go back and forth between the two balconies.

  13. I will be elite on our next cruise and was wondering about having afternoon tea in the cabin.  Can I put in a request for this any day or just certain days?  Will be on the Sky in 26 days🛳.  So ready for our cruise, some sun, and relaxation!!

Will be on the Coral next month--no Medallion.  How does the laundry work without it?

You will use your cruise card with the machines. I always go to the laundry room and get the tokens the day we embark. They are known for running out of tokens mid way through the cruise.

I would wait a bit and then try again, I had a few occasions when the app was not working correctly or could not load, it signed me out on two occasions and I would have to sign back in but everything stayed for our ocean ready status.

Thanks!!  I will try tomorrow 🙂
