to know people check night before we left all was correct change d

when we got our cards, waited 1 hour to talk to mattered he was all

over the place said all taken care of gave us a table number showed up to!d on this I anytime.

medallion is a joke you now need to caN both cars and medallion for on and off ship. Lost onboard credits and wait time for any in customer service desk and that no Answers just check later.Don't worry I have a list but no internet time have to go talk to them now.

  2. We have cruised over 12  x with Princess and this is the worst! Some good but customer service and interactive personnel have been the worst to down right rude. I am in the field of customer service over 25 years and there would be a lot of firing taking place. We are easy go I going professional 50 year olds and it just has not stopped since we boarded. Will write full info later as one of the items (platnum free 150 min. Intenet) vanished.

  3. So we sail in March and have always bought 1 card for getting Mochas and fun coffee drinks from how it reads we will still be able to use one card for the premium coffee BUT will not and have mot doht the fresh brewed or tea's. I am reading this right correct?

    • Coffee packages cannot be sold or otherwise transferred to any individual. Pre-purchased specialty coffees may be shared, but complimentary brewed coffee, teas and hot chocolate continue to be limited to the purchaser.

  4. So it's been awhile and when we last sailed Carnival they had tried "American Dining" in the MDR. To be honest it was a disaster . 2 x main entrees not served an so forth. Is the Freedom the same kind of dining or have they gone back to the traditional in the MDR. It was so bad that if it is we may go on another cruise line. Thanks for the help .

  5. We have always liked TD it has allowed us to meet some fantastic people, some very interesting with great pasts, some with exciting jobs and lives, some famous and happy to enjoy evenings without gocers ,but the same people each night and share the days experiences. The waiters have always seemed to try and do their best and we like the late seating to relax before dinner , take a nap and know right where we can get a table. We have tons of friends who love ATD due to kids, their time they prefer to be flexible ,for a number of reasons. It's all personal choice ,that's why we all pay for our own cruises. We can say we like it tons more than the American dining on Carnival as the complaints never ended there and service was very poor. Two night they never delivered our main course until they were taking the tables desert orders and said oh no do you mind just going to the desert or we can wrap your main. REALLY... back to Princess for us.

  6. We are sailing out on a Saturday and our flight gets in about 9am is there anything to do around the pier (walking) or are we better eating at airport and get a later shuttle? We'd book later flight but with winter weather and wanting a direct flight to void delays at other airports we don't want to chance issues. Any ideas?

  7. Bad

American dining is a terrible/ 2 nights did not even get our entrees, than they serviced them when the rat of our table got their desert/ 3 nights one of us did not get a menu/ 2 other nights no drink order taken and 2 nights drinks never brought but charged/Food kind of like going to sizzler same ‘ol same ‘ol not very good/Formal American night looked like processed prime beef forgotten names and just be sure you write how much you like us.

Entertainment was poor in the fact that there is not a whole lot to do during the day/TV movies same ones over and over or pay for old movies out/went to cooking demo same exact thing we saw 5 years ago I mean it same food too

Buffet not a very good selection and a lot of them were closed early/

Nothing to make you feel like a long time customer returning except 2 bottles of water.

    Good

9B room was great as was our room steward /he serviced our room morning and night and wen’t the extra mile each night with the towel people and any request was there right away.

FTTF well worth it so much less worry and luggage in room asap/ Tendered port just walked to the counter and they escorted us to the front to the tender.

Table mates outstanding there each night and wonderful to compare notes.

  8. I have a question we too are on the Mircale and have a1:00pm flight and have Primetime sedan picking us up at 10 am to get us to LAX , anyone have trouble making the flights with this time range ? Only time we missed and bit earlier flight was when the tsunami hit and we were kept out to sea till noon.

  9. We were like #7 just after 9/11 canceled a trip and decided to try a cruise for the 1st time. We were very surprised to be given an owner suite when we booked a balcony our Ta had told them we were not too excited to try sailing BUT they hooked us with that suite. Cruise 1-2 times a year always a balcony or up, they have a reason to their madness and have a lot of our funds. And worth it all the time.

  10. So quick question we have FTTF for March out of LA on the tags we can print there is just a round circle with FTTF logo on it, will this help flag the porters to tag our bags to get to our rooms early? And on our boarding pass is that logo what flags it? I know we can go in and not have to board at a certain time just after weddings ,Platinum quests and suites but wasn't sure just that logo does the rest. Hope it is worth it. One more cruise and we can than go from Gold to Platinum but heard this was a good idea.

  11. I have to say I am ashamed that I am going to attend a vacation on a Carnival Cruise Ship and once again enjoy myself and Know I do not have to work, that I will be forced to relax and have fun, that my husband will also suffer this with me and if I don't thank my lucky stars that we are blessed to do so we should not be allowed to board !

  12. Anyone use this from LA? Have heard lots about it but wondering how it works there, if there is a certain waiting room, how soon can you get there to wait , can the porters take the bags early/ We have an early flight in and will bwe at the port about 9-9:30am. Any help and info is appreciated. Also is the queen Marty within easy walking distance.

  13. This great info. I think we will take the early flight my DH hates traffic and delays that may be impacting. BUT by dropping our bags do you all mean the ship with the porters? I assume they would be fine if we gave a nice tip too. Like both the Queen Mary and the bus as we could go grab some caned soda for the trip too and get breakfast. Any other ideas are great.

  14. So we can get a direct flight that gets us to LA day of sailing at 7:30 in the am. Figure we get luggage and ride to terminal but are we looking at sitting around for hours ? We have heard that the traffic can be a yea or nay our war and a later flight would be 10:40 but 2 stops that sould cause maybe issues,Or if we grab a breakfast and than head out when do they start the boarding?
