Only on sea days.

Always cheaper on board! And they’ll offer deals that you can drop in to see once on. Also, port days are always cheaper than sea days.
As for worth it, I’ve never been overly impressed with the spa, but I still keep going. Last time I had a seaweed wrap/massage and that was pretty great. Rubbed down in a seaweed mixture and then wrapped up like a cocoon, followed by a shower and then a massage. My skin felt like a babies after.

Did everyone get a boarding time?
We were a little disappointed that boarding was delayed boarding because of the private naming ceremony.
I am not platinum yet so I just checked in and got a 1:30-2. Curious what the diamond and plats got. We usually prefer a later boarding time but not 6pm late! I’m anticipating it being a zoo at embarkation with everyone not sticking to arrival times. Also wondering if rooms will be ready for all at boarding.

I Thought they had a naming ceremony back in November? Also, my planner now shows all sail days are in Galveston???
Where do you see all sail days showing Galveston? 😳

I hope they’ll give more info soon! I’d love to change my flight so I’m not sitting around waiting.

Just got an email that the Jubilee will be leaving at 8pm instead of 4pm on Feb 24th. Anyone know why?
Also, will this mean we board late as well? I’ve had delays but usually they’re communicated closer to the cruise. Not 3 weeks out.

Not the OP but I do have a question based on your pictures in the review. I have been a vegetarian for over 30 years and the last time I tried vegan cheese was probably 25 years ago. It was horrible! It looked like plastic and didn't melt at all. Just recently I was thinking of trying it again, thinking it HAS to be better all these years later, but based on your pictures it looks like it still doesn't melt real well. Can you tell me your thoughts?
I’m a vegetarian and try to not eat dairy as much as possible. Plant based cheese has come a very long way!! I didn’t have any melted cheese on the last cruise just what’s on the Cesar salad, but YES vegan cheese is amazing now!
There are still some crap ones, but Miyoko’s brand is fantastic! Plus there are a lot of small companies making great vegan cheeses now.

I had a few of the items on the vegan menu in October on the Celebration. The few things I had were all great! The server said I was the first person he’s had that had ordered any of it.
Make sure you swipe on the menu to find the full vegan menu as it changes every day. If you search on here, I posted each menu that was on our ship day to day.15 minutes ago, phoneman69 said:DW and i are on the Horizon in May she has issues with milk products. She is looking to mostly order from the Vegetarian side of the menu in the MDR. Has anyone had any of the New Menu Vegetarian options and what did you think or like.

The reason the bars print receipts, even with the drink packages, is so you can tip. If the bars are busy, and you’re tipping still, I’m sure they’d pause to give you a menu or guide you to a drink you’d enjoy.

That’s the best spot to go to on Embarkarion day. It’s always so much quieter than the Lido and you don’t have to fight for a table!

Thanks for posting!
I had the vegan mushroom soup on Radiance last month and it was amazing. They didn't have the menus posted though, printed or in the app.
I didn’t even notice them in the app! I had to swipe on the regular menu and it takes you to the vegan.

We all have seen the updated vegan menu that carnival rolled out a month ago. One thing I didn’t know until we cruised a few weeks ago is that it’s an entire menu and is different everyday in the main dining room.
We only ate in the dining room one night, and I had the Vegan Cesar and the Vegan Fish. Both were amazing and my husband had to ask the waiter for me to confirm the fish was fake because it tasted so real! Hubby isn’t a vegetarian and he finished off my “fish filets”.

It’s the Palms which is the aft dining room.

Thank you!

Does anyone know of the boarding passes still say “Priority” in red at the top for priority guests?
-
I don’t remember the meet and greet for premier. It’s mainly just drawings and things in the casino. You’ll have a schedule in your room when you board that lays out the times for the drawings.

I want to try it! But I don’t eat seafood and would love some good veggie rolls which aren’t on the menu. I was just wondering if they would make it.

I’ve seen the menu for Bonsai Sushi and I know they have limited ingredients compared to a typical sushi bar.
Has anyone ever ordered something off the menu? Like a cucumber or avocado roll?

I cruise in 2 weeks on the Mardi Gras and will order as much of this as possible and post photos and reviews. I’ve been vegetarian for over 15 years and was excited for a few more options.

Chicago popcorn means Garrett's. Maybe if you get the tin can? I may have booked a flight or two through Chicago just for Garrett's.
It’s the best!!!!!! Also, found out they have one at the DFW airport as well!

Use the link on the website listed above. Also, they are backed up so it will be a long wait to hear back. But they will get back to you. I waited over a month. Heard back last week and cruise in 2 weeks.

I know some people bring their own food and snacks on board and it’s usually ok if it is unopened. Hubby and I have a layover in Chicago and would love to grab some popcorn. Since it’s not a factory sealed, just bagged up, would that be allowed?
Carnival Corporation Orders 5th Excel-Class Ship

Would love to have one on the West Coast, but with Cabo being the most popular stop, I don’t see how it would happen. I have been on all 3 excel ships. They are easily my favorite but I’m so over the ports. We haven’t even gotten off the ship the past few times on half.
