  1. I haven't been on Navigator but was just on Regal in April. Beautiful ship. I thought the crew was very nice and accommodating. The only downside I found, there wasn't a ton to do on seas days. They had this little mini-golf course and basketball, etc. but you couldn't play unless they were planned cruise activities. For the mini-golf, they told us people were throwing things over the side, so they didn't have free play. But the ship is gorgeous. We had a mini-suite and I thought the balcony was just fine.

  2. I know this question has probably been asked a thousand times, but I'm too lazy to search  We are cruising Independence of the Seas in November and arriving back to Ft. Lauderdale on Thanksgiving Day. We booked a 10:30 a.m. flight. Too early??

    Thanks!

  3. Hi, everyone!

Bit of background...my boyfriend and I were supposed to do the 3 night in November on Regal. We ended up switching to a 5 night cruise to take his son. So for his Christmas gift, I booked the 3 night being offered in April. Did anyone do the previous 3 night? I've never done one so short...just curious as to activities offered and if you get the same feel as a longer cruise.

    Thanks!

  4. Hi everyone!

Quick question....I'm heading on a cruise Saturday on Caribbean Princess. This is my 15th cruise so I'm not a newbie....however I received an email from Princess giving me my assigned boarding time. That is something new! We are flying in early morning and were just going to head straight to the port....however my boarding time is 2:00. Will they make us wait?

    Thanks in advance!

  5. I've actually booked both the dolphin swim and and the manatee encounter on my own. I booked it online and was never asked what cruise line I was with. They do have amazing special deals that are only valid with a particular cruise line which I was disappointed about! We are doing the manatee encounter in just a few weeks!

  6. That doesn't sound fun! We were looking more for a company that does the driving. I did one years ago....and it was awesome! But I can't remember the name of the company anymore.

  7. Quick question for all of you who frequent the casino on a cruise. I've been on numerous cruises but never hit the casino. My boyfriend is excited about getting to spend some time there. We'll be on the Ruby. How does it work on the cruise? I assume, as with everything else, no actual cash is exchanged. Do you use your card like you would for anything else?

    Thanks in advance!

  8. Thanks everyone! I feel better. I was actually cruised Princess in November of 2012. And never found it to be crowded. But I also had no idea whether it was sold out or not. I was just concerned with finding a place at the pool and seating for breakfast/lunch.

  9. We are cruising on the Ruby Princess February 6th. Booked a GTY (not picky about cabins) and still don't have a room assignment. When I called to inquire, they said it was a sold out ship and we hadn't been assigned a room yet. Anyone have experience with a sold out cruise? Did you notice longer lines? Seem to crowded? Just curious! Even a busy cruise is better than not being on one! :)

  10. I haven't ever taken a cab...the three times I've been there we have booked a private excursion and I have been to Altun Ha twice. I have to imagine a cab would be VERY expensive. It is about a 45 minute ride from the port to the ruins and back again. The entrance fees were included in our tour so I'm not sure how much they are.

We booked through a place called Smuggler's Run Plantation. They picked us up at the port, fed us a homemade lunch at their plantation and then took us to the ruins and back to the port. I've been there three times and booked through them every time!
