I purchased it several months ago for our Sept 13th cruise and so far they haven't cancelled it. I expect they will soon though.
Sailing on 9/26 on the Pride and we just got our nastygram today 😢 So bummed, 1st time snagging it & was really looking forward to the perks

On the second day and the last evening, just check your sea pass account. Although we've had the drink package, one or two drinks seem to slip in. Easy to correct but you want to check before the last day to avoid lining up a Guest Services.
That's a terrific idea @Magicat

LOL @shellunderwater & @Tulsacoker
We're sailing with my folks and after i saw everybody's responses, i texted my mom & told her to reprint her and dad's boarding passes & explained why.
Mom's reply was, "Ok. We printed it twice so now we can drink twice as much!" Lol.
All i could picture was that commercial with the old lady posting pics to her physical wall
Needless to say, I think we'll be getting our money's worth 😂😂
Thanks for the giggle

Hi. Not a first time cruiser but new to RCI.
We're sailing on Allure next week and have purchased the deluxe drink package.
My question is, once onboard what do we need to do or where do we need to go to activate the package? I'm guessing like most lines, RCI does some kind of sticker, hole punch, or card so staff will know what gets charged?
Thanks much,
Renee

That is NOT TRUE. We only do MTD and have been seated with a family with children on a cruise last year. We are a party of 2, so there goes your theory. They did ask if it was ok.
I concur.
Past cruising experience is that during dinner hours if they are slammed the host will ask if you'd rather be seated sooner at a large community table.
In fact, on our last cruise this happened on 1 of the formal nights and since i wasn't feeling particularly social that day the hubs and i decided to wait for a private table. It changed our wait time from 5-10mins to about 25-30mins. We figure sometimes we wait that long for a table on land so no harm. (Disclaimer: we were walk ins that night - no reservations)
For breakfast, however, most days large community tables are the norm and a private table is a luxury. That being said, on more than one occasion we've enjoyed breakfast with 2-4 other people at the opposite end of an 8/10 seater which, in all honesty, feels just as private as your own 2 top so long as you employ the "don't make eye contact or any sudden movements and maybe the people will go away" thing 🙂
Not saying i don't like to socialize but until I've had my coffee and maybe a bite to eat, i can't really navigate strangers and chit chat. Instant human, just add coffee ☕😍

Side affects vary and many do mention not to drink alcohol. However, DW has no side affects and does not have any problem with social drinking.
That's why i take ginger root capsules with me. If I'm on vacation, i want to have a drink or two or more :)
I should mention my motion sickness is weird. Slight movements make me ill-things like the sway of a skyscraper, soft floorboards that flex under foot, or the way an rv tilts when it's parked, so it's no surprise when the stabilizers are working, i feel every little movement but when the seas are rough, i can ditch the ginger and enjoy the ride.
Masks provided?
in Carnival Cruise Lines

For those who have sailed since the masking protocol, did Carnival have masks available for passengers? Thanks 😊
