Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. We are on Seabourn Quest. I got my Visa on 12/26, ten days after passing QC check. My wife went into that status on the 27th, so we are hopeful that her visa will come in early January.
  2. I had a similar problem when I started the process on 10 December. My bank statements run from the 21st of the month to the 20th of the next month. Been that way for 30 years. But I was told the entirety of November had to be on the statement. Even though the requirement was a statement covering 30 days.
  3. Our initial application and payment was Dec 10th. I had to re-upload my 2x2 and then my bank statement. Went to QC completed status (meaning docs were approved) on 12/16. It then took til 12/26 to get final visa My wife's followed the same timeline, except she has been stuck in "Pending Upload" for longer. I did her final upload of a new bank statement on 12/19. And just five minutes ago her status improved to "QC completed". Interestingly, both times that the log jam has shown some progress came after me emailing customer support. They never answer, but the next day the app moves forward one step. I recommend a polite email to them (address is in the process doc that has been uploaded to this thread by another user)
  4. Some good news: My evisa came in over night. My wife is still stuck in "pending upload document", but we are making progress
  5. We are on a Seabourn cruise, not Oceana. Seabourn and HAL have been working the issue, and their last update was that the Brazilian congress is considering delaying the requirement because of the systemic issues. I don't think there is any way around the bank statement requirement. Redact the account number. But honestly, criminals are going to assume anyone getting off an international cruise ship is relatively wealthy, so the bank statement on its own doesn't put a bigger target on your back.
  6. The support email address is Brazilevisa@vfsglobal.com You'll get an autoreply saying they will get back to you in one business day....but they won't. I've been waiting for five business days.
