  1. We are taking our kids on their first cruise, as well as grandparents. I can't seem to find information online or in the app about some questions that have come up regarding activities since we have such a wide range of age groups. First, are there are evening productions or shows in the main theater room? The grandparents REALLY like this aspect in their past cruises, but in the app in the weekly calendar (at least so far) on Navigator we didn't really see any night time productions like we have on all our other ships. Maybe that just shows up once you are on the ship? They have plenty of night activities and things, I was just wondering about specific bigger night productions like it shows on the Web site. Also, do they have pickleball equipment on board already that they just loan people or are you expected to bring your own if you want to play. Since this is our first time bringing kids this hasn't come up before. Is the kids swimming area and water slides open on the boarding day? It looks to be so, but just wanted to make sure so we don't put our swimsuits in our luggage. It also shows there are ice skating lessons one of the days, but I didn't see any ice performing shows? Is that unusual just to have ice skating available on only one day?
  2. My family (four kids ages 5-14), are coming in from a cruise on Friday, March 31st. Our ship gets in fairly early to LA (San Pedro) and our flight leaves around 5 that same Friday evening from John Wayne. Wondering if anyone has found anything you can do realistically (other than the standards shopping, finding a place to eat, etc.) to do for a few hours with kids instead of just hanging out in the airport for most of the day. We looked into Disneyland but it just wasn't feasible for the time we had available. We will also have 2 grandparents with us.
  3. Due to some medical needs my daughter has to be on thickened liquids. We will be sailing on Navigator over spring break (end of March 2023). Wondering if there are fridges or freezers in the rooms to store waterbottles or small liquid containers for her thickened liquids. We will have an inside cabin. Or who I could ask to find out about this? Once her drinks are made they need to be refridgerated. I am looking into some other more "transportable" options, but still wondering if there will be fridges available.
  4. We are taking our kids on their first cruise (and the grandparents too) over spring break the last week in March. We are flying in Monday morning fairly early and getting on the ship as soon as we can. Looking into all and best options for a group of 8 to get from the Orange County Airport to the cruise terminal. Wondering if anyone can share what the best way worked for their family. Our kids are aged 5-14 so walking and no strollers needed.
