Question for anyone who is or who has recently sailed on the Infinity - is Celebrity offering an unlimited package (we will be on for 12nights) - also if you know the Elite Plus discount?

Last sailed in September 2014 - and no unlimited package, but did give free minutes however could not be applied to a larger package - so am hopeful that they are now offering an unlimited package - knowing how slow the system is.

Also if Specialty Restaurants were giving a discount on the first night booking when you arrived?

Thank you all for your responses - I did do some more searching and

found a picture "supposedly of Infinity 6135" and it showed 2 chairs no sofa - so if anyone sees this post that has sailed on the Infinity recently in 6135 if you can advise - I would be so appreciative.

Searched the M thread regarding cabins and it did mention that this was one of the "better cabins"- located on deck 6 connecting with suites. I believe it has a larger balcony - however no further details are listed.

Has anyone sailed during the past year in this cabin - on the deck plan it does not show the box that indicates a sofa- and I thought "somewhere" some remark was made that someone thought it had only a chair because of the connecting cabin - does someone know for sure?

Any information would be greatly appreciated - not only if there is a sofa but location of the bed - near balcony or bath

Traveled by private limo from Manhattan area to the ship - which took very short time about 20 minutes and then - we crawled with the rest of the line for another 50 minutes (2/2 sailing) was so glad that I had not done a taxi as the meter would have been huge.

Agree with staying at the airport - but would look into the bus transfer with the cruiseline before doing a taxi -

Could have been our timing - we were in line outside terminal at 12Noon - then in terminal at 1255PM and then more chaos and finally on the ship at 140PM -

Fantastic cruise once we were on - just glad that I know how much the transfer was costing before sitting there.

Thank you so much for your quick response - have sailed out of New York Manhattan and Brooklyn but first time for Bayonne and I "assumed" which we know what that means. -

So would think New York Skyline on Starboard side would be the preferred when sailing out (in case way too cold to be outside)

I am sure that someone has posted this before but cannot seem to find it - when sailing out of Bayonne to go past Statue of Liberty - better to have Starboard balcony cabin or Port balcony cabin -

Also any idea if the ship sails at 4PM - what time it passes the Statue?

Do you know if Ken Rush has been on since the Quantum came over in November? How long he is staying on? Had him on the Allure and thought he did a great job with that ship.

Thank you so much for taking the time to review - question - you mention you were in an E1 and that you rented an over the water Cabana in Labadee - I had understood that they could only be reserved by suite guests - were you able to do this prior to departure or once onboard the ship - and if you can also advise the cost?

Interesting - it is no longer even listed as an option fee or complimentary for the 2/2 sailing? Does not show on dining options on the web page although all other options do - maybe it is so not available for the sailing that they are not showing it? Luckily thanks to Cruise Critic was able to reserve a table when the information first came out. - Thanks again

SB guarantee to D3 - and the ship is showing full for the February sailing so will be interested to see how you do for the 1/23 when there is still choices

I did the SB guarantee for February 2015 sailing back in November and was assigned a D right before Christmas - not the greatest location but definitely happy for the bigger cabin -

Thank you for the input for cabin 13292 - I too thought the same thing being under a public area - however that is the situation with a guarantee - and since there is nothing else left - will adjust and enjoy whatever it is

Did you do a computer package and do you remember pricing? Tried to do reservations for dining and entertainment and just continues to show - not available - also spoke with RCCL and they said same - so again - will go and enjoy since still better than being home and at work - Thanks again -

Since obviously you spent more time in your cabin than you planned - were there enough television choices to help past your time or is everything pay for view?

Just returned from the Med and stayed in Barcelona - ATM was so easy until one day - no longer was able to access. Had forgotten to call the bank (ATM) and alert them that I would be out of the country. Yes they called the house to inquire- not there so that was no help. Interesting because I had gotten a letter from the bank before I left just a general reminder that no longer do you have to call with a travel alert - evidently that only applied to credit card and not ATM - I had purchased money before I left but the exchange rate was better with the ATM and also a credit card that does not charge a foreign transaction fee.

We did leave money in our safe in Barcelona and yes you do have to watch for pickpockets (as everywhere) but as long as you remain diligent with your personal belongings - fantastic city - Enjoy

We will be disembarking the Solstice in Honolulu on 10/5/14 - from last years cruisers - anyone remember the time you can actually disembark the ship (not carry carrying off our luggage)?

Also the private limo company we are using - said we need to "walk out and meet them" any idea of exact distance that is and if the porters will take our luggage there?

In regards to "complimentary cappuccinos, latte, espressos" - is this everywhere on the ship or one location? Unlimited?

Evening cocktail hour - what exactly is served - set drinks or can order what you prefer?

200 internet minutes - can this be applied to a larger package

"Coffee house breakfast"? what is included - last year on Solstice it was listed as simply - continental breakfast and was held in the Silk Harvest Restaurant.

You can only book the ice show but it is well worth it. Saturday night fever wasn't full the night we went (9.30pm).
