I have searched the forums and can't find the exact answer that I need. My wife and I are cruising on the Mardi Gras in Sept. We both use CPAP. Is there a way that I can order a gallon of Distilled Water before we go? Is there a website or anything? Thanks in advance.

I just ordered a gallon of Distilled Water from the Fun Shops phone number:  800-522-7948  It costs a little over $3 per gallon.

  2. I am watching Galveston webcam and see the Carnival Freedom coming into port.  I was under the impression the Carnival Vista was due to come in today.  From what i have found, the Freedom is based out of Port Canaveral.  I wonder why She is in Galvfeston today?

We’ll be cruising this month for a b2b on the Horizon. My mobility has recently decreased to the point that I need a scooter for any sort of distance. I’ve rented a scooter from scootaround (my personal one is being built), notified Carnival and gotten a fully accessible cabin so I know the basics but as I am a type a and sort of anxious personality I just want to know what to expect from those who have been there as far as what’s expected as far as getting around the ship and any tips or tricks. Such as when going to dinner or say the comedy club, is there a place to park outside the venue or do you take the scooter in, how navigable are the elevators, anywhere to park on lido or should I use my cane, are there elevators to the higher decks to see my kids on the sky course and water works, etc.

Any help or advice you could offer would be appreciated more than you know!

I have taken my mobility scooter on over 30 cruises without any incident or inconvenience.  The only advice would be to very mindful that most people don't see you....mostly because they are looking forward and not slightly down.  Especially in crowded areas.  Just go as slow as possible and say excuse me a lot.  Also, I have found that when I can, I try and back into elevators.  It seems to be a lot easier to get off them instead of trying to back out and watch out for people.

  4. This will be first time using the "Your Time" dining option.  My specific question is, Do I have to go to another floor/station to register each day when our party is ready to eat?   We have a party of 6 and I just not sure of the process.   Thanks!

Don't know about the ports, my guess is that they will change.  We were on the Vista in November and both GC and Jamaica were changed, we still had a great cruise.  We ended up going to Honduras and Belize.  We are on the Feb 5 Vista cruise as well, gonna have a great time!

Our first leg will be to Mahogany Bay and Belize.  The 2nd leg is scheduled for GC and Jamaica, but if they change, it's no big deal to us!  We plan to have fun regardless of where She stops!   Enjoy your Feb 5...  We will be right behind you!
