  1. It's been some time since I've logged into my Crown and Anchor account and everything seems to have changed. I can't see how to make choices of gifts for upcoming cruises nor can I see where I make my preference known for possible upgrades. I can see my C&A membership number, my status and my points. What I can't do is personalise it. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

  2. Thanks for your responses. I don't know the brands that you refer to but I will check them out onboard. In Spain we have San Miguel 0% beer which to be honest doesn't taste that good but for a temporary period, we need a beverage that won't interact with medication.

  3. KKMurphy2, I agree completely. Whenever D+ and diamonds have been allocated the same lounge for their evening drinks for logistical reasons, the place has always been heaving and we have struggled to attract a waiter's attention. I enjoy a more intimate place for our social event where the waiters know what you want before you order it and where it is easier to develop relationships with fellow cruisers and also the staff. Let's hope that RCL can accommodate all Crown and Anchor members in a way that doesn't diminish the experience. I'll drink to that!

  4. Thanks to those who responded to my question about the previously D+ lounge on the Allure. If this has now become the diamond lounge, I wonder why a Crown and Anchor Diamond member would have any incentive to become D+. It's hard to see the added benefits of having between 175 and 699 points as opposed to having only 80 - 174. Am I missing something here?

  5. This is our first NCL cruise and we leave tomorrow in a B3 cabin on the Spirit. Could anyone advise on the following:

What shampoo/conditioner/body lotion will there be in the bathroom?

Does NCL provide a face cloth?

Will there be a fridge and/or tea making facilities in the cabin?

I think that's all. Thanks for any help or for any other useful info.

  6. Can somebody confirm what Princess provides in the way of shampoo and conditioner in the bathrooms on Regal Princess. I have checked Princess website and I have read a) basic shampoo/conditioner combo on the wall of the shower b) separate shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. Any first hand info gratefully received. Thanks.

  7. There is a reliable bus service between King's Wharf and Hamilton. There are two buses - one takes the middle road and is more direct and the other takes the south road which passes by many of Bermuda's best beaches. November can be very cool in Bermuda but the views from the bus are wonderful. There is also a local ferry that travels between King's Wharf and Hamilton which gives you the opportunity to see Bermuda close up from the sea. The bus and ferry fares are only a few dollars. From Hamilton you can change bus and continue on the St Georges at the far end of the island. Since Bermuda is only 21 miles long, it isn't difficult to do it on your own.
