Want to book the Freedom. Prefer Emperess deck, but seems to be sold out. MY QUESTION: if I book Upper deck, CAN you hear any noise from Promenade deck. It seems like rooms are over casino, bar areas, dance areas. Prefer to be mid-ship, though Aft is okay. Going with 89-year-old mom and she cannot tolerate any sounds that might drift up. Just wondering, am I correct on the 5 night cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale, that they have ice show, SNF and In the Air? Wanted to book end of this year.

I've been twice and think it is wonderful. It's about a mile from the ship. If you are taking RCCL tour, they provide r/t transport.

Ship in port 7-3 pm. Private tour is 6 hours. Is that cutting it too close. Figured you cannot get off ship until approx. 8 am? Any thoughts?

I've been to all ruins in Belize, Costa Maya and Tulum. Believe me, no place is as great as Chichen Itza. True, a long ride, but well worth it. The other places can't hold anything like it . Take it with the cruise line though. Too far on your own.

On the cb and emerald we had 414, 418 and 415. Great views. Booked on Ruby as well. These ships are sisters of the Ruby. There are about a dozen cabins with no boats. Look at the ship on the emerald deck. So far, it seems if you reserve the early 400's cabins, they seems to be the best.
