The World Bar on the Silhouette offer Bulleit Bourbon which is 90 proof...I would be surprised if it were not offered on the Summitt. Definitely a nice bourbon!!

If you are going to the bar yourself, the beverage package should be in your name and on your card.

Taking a Private hire from Heathrow to Southampton in a month or so and I was just wondering what is the UK custom regarding tipping the driver in addition to the fare. If the fare is say 71BP.......is that what we pay him, do you round up to 75 or add 10-15%.

I am not trying to start a tipping discussion as to what you tip vs what I tip or is 20% better than 10% etc. AS a Brit, how would you handle a 71BP "private hire" fare simply to and from Heathrow (no tour)??

Last night at Elite cocktail hour on Reflection the menu included Dewar's White Label, along with Absolut Vodka, johnnie Walker Red, beefeater, Bacardi, Jim Beam, and Courvoisier VS.

My concern is that Dewars Scotch is no longer a classic drink....Is it included in the Elite Happy hour??? It always was!

Can someone please post the drink menu that is now being offered during the Elite Happy Hours. With all the changes with the Classic Package (as of May 1, 2017), did this impact the Elite Happy Hour??? ie I know you could get Dewar's Scotch during Happy Hour but now it is not included in the Classic package...is it available for the Elite Happy Hour??

If you are a serious dancer (ballroom etc) Celebrity is not the place. The dance instruction that celebrity provides is from their theatre group....normally in a public (small) area. There are no "dance" escorts to oblige singles.

No swim wear ever, shorts have always been ok at breakfast an lunch. How much more relaxed need it be?

You will find the menu is very limited, nothing special, they are trying to take some of the load off the buffet.

Here was the menu on a recent Silhouette sailing...and it was VERY good,.

A real nice bene for CC cabins is the embarkation lunch...dont miss it. I think you need to be seated by 1pm or 130 ...I would check. Typically the meals offered have been form the specialty restaurants....very good.

While on a recent X Cruise, we booked 9 nights in an S2 on the Silhouette for March 2019....$3099 per person plus tax......3 weeks later price was $4099 per person...and we are still 2 years out!!

Just on the SIlhouette and all tables games (including craps) were a minimun of $10. Texas Holdem tourney was $60 buy in, BlackJack Tourney was $25 buyin.

Casino was much less crowded and in the past when Table games were $5 minimun

Be aware that Celebrity's minimum for most if not all table games is now $10.

Decent diner time for Murano were booked out after the 2nd day...so you could get 6pm or after 830.....if this is what you want book early. We would concur with the Lawn Club Grill....very good without all the formalities.

BTW....The Murano Speciality Resturant was booked out of Prime dinner times (6:30-8:00) by the second day. So if you are planning to go to the Murano plan accordingly!!

I have Select dining. Do they give you pagers if you have to wait for a table?

Select dining worked OK and YES when we had to wait longer than 10 minutes (first or second night) we received a pager but had the table within 20 minutes or so.

Thanks for the review. Will be on this route March. Did you like Ralph Harris? I thought he was hilarious. Also, did you visit the casino and how was it? I am hoping to stay out of the casino but it doesn't ever seem to work.

The casino is now $10 mininum for the majority of table games including craps. The casino had people in it but I never found it to be crowded most likely due to the higher minimums..... Plus they never offered lower table games like during certain hours or encouraged people to play. THIs was disappointing. You can play a BlackJack Tourney for $25 (2 separate tourneys during the week) and they also offer Texas Holdem Tourneys at $60 entry 3 times a day and then at 9pm a $2, $5 cash game. Eve the Texas HOldem Tourneys were not always sold out and in fact some were cancelled.

Just off the Silhouette..Booked C1 and got upgraded to C2....Great location. The welcome Lunch was MUCH better than ever expected. We had Crusted Lamb Chops directly from Murano and they were outstanding plus no hassle compared to what we typically experienced at the Buffet. NOTE you had to be seated by 1pm to enjoy the welcome luncheon.

Evening treats were a joke...suggest you ask for a Fruit and cheese plate. I also think you get better trained room attendants as you work your way up the cabin levels. The sparkling wine you receive, well you can trade that in in the main dining room towards a bottle of wine and get $25 credit OR you can leave it for your cabin attendant on your last day of departure.

Can you use your OBC to upgrade to a premium beverage package ??? For a 7 night cruise that would be 7 X $11.80 or $82.60 upgrade charge for the cruise....thats about 5-6 martinis at he Martini Bar not counting the better wine at dinner.

My wife never carries her sea pass card.......to get into the Diamond Lounge, does a couple have to show both cards or is one card sufficient!! We are Diamond!!

Does the Silhouette Martini Bar have a "mini" martini that fits in with the Classic Beverage package ????
