  1. I am really confused.. Everything Im reading on the Cheers program states that it is $49.95/day plus tax, however, I found a Funtimes for the Liberty on 10/4/14 and it states that it is $37.50. Did the price just go up?

    CHEERS BEVERAGE PROGRAM:

Buy now and enjoy the ease and convenience of paying one flat price for your spirited beverages (yep, that’s with alcohol!) all cruise long! At only $37.50* per day, this card is an amazing value! *Prices are per day; gratuities not included. Restrictions apply.

  2. Go to johnhealdsblog.com and if you look you will find some Funtime posted. Has liberty in October of 14. I was looking for the same thing as you. Hope this helps, when are you cruising?

Thank you Nicole! That helped a lot! Even though its to the Western and we are going Eastern... it at least helped with the daily activities and times. ;)

  3. Would anyone have a copy of the latest Funtimes for the Liberty out of PC that you could share?

I have a group sailing in March and am trying to plan a couple of activities for the group, but it would sure help if I knew some of the ship activities.

    Thanks In advance!

    Lorinda ;)

  4. I am soooooooo very excited! Carnival held a promotion for TA's for the month of January called "50 Cruises a Day Giveaway", and for every day that you booked a cruise in January for your clients, your name goes into a drawing to win a FREE cruise on Carnival. And on January 18th, they drew MY name! I never thought I would win!!! I had a list of cruises to choose from and they had pretty much every ship, departing from every US port for February, March, April, and May! Luckily, I wanted another cruise on Carnival Magic, and I was able to book myself and up to 3 friends for only the cost of taxes and tipping per person. So we are doing a girls cruise for 7 nights to Mahogany Bay, Belize and Cozumel for $154.92 per person! :) I will probably NEVER get a deal like that again, as long as I live!!! 27 years selling Carnival cruises has paid off! Thank you so much Carnival!!!

Congrats! I got one too! Im so excited!! Just booked the Pride out of Baltimore. WHOO HOO!! THANK YOU CCL!!! :D

  5. OMG! I have nothing but GREAT things to say about Mark! He is an AMAZING tour guide and is such a neat guy! I have actually been a TA for over 25 years and have cruise a lot. I typically escort a cruise group every year and our last one had a stop in Jamaica. I messaged Mark and from day one he was so helpful.. and took such wonderful care of my entire group. He went over an beyond to make our tour of his beautiful island a memorable one!!

Since we have been back.. I would have no problem referring him to any and all my clients and friends as I know they will all be in GREAT hands!

A HUGE THANK YOU to Mark Morris for taking such pride in his tours and his beautiful island.. I can not wait to go back!

    Boyle Family! ;)

  6. OMG!! I just went back and looked over all of these GREAT ideas from our last cruise. I am now doing another one for Spring Break 2010.. and am going to do this again. We all had SO much fun with the scavenger hunts! I did one for the adults (some things were just not for kids!!..LOL ) and then we did a kids one and they had SO MUCH FUN!! Im going to use some of the ideas that came in after the last one. If anyone has any other ideas to add to..please feel free!!!

Cant wait to see what other ideas come up!! ;)

  7. Thanks for all the great ideas! ;) I have made a list of about 50 items..( not they they have to find all 50 or that I will even be listing all of them..LOL  ) that I think are pretty good. (THANK YOU ALL!!)

Im now trying to find some riddles for a few of the items, that they have to try and figure out. These are a couple I thought might work..

--If your ears are dirty, you might miss your cue.. with this little tip you should know what to do?

--While searching for my forgotten treasure, I skinned my knee. I needed a band not one that would play for me, but one that would aid me in my time of need?

    Anyone got any good riddles??

    Thanks!

    ~Lorinda ;)

  8. OK. I have now made this my personal project! :D

If you don't mind staying tuned, I'll just post ideas as they come to me. I tend to do my best thinking while driving or in the shower. Probably something I'd think of will remind you of something else, and vice versa.

I'm trying to think of little things you could pick up in various areas of the ship, so here are a few to get us started:

    Paper clip (Guest Relations Desk)

Band-aid (Infirmary -- although they might charge for it :( )

Coffee cup lid (Cafe or Buffet)

Drink umbrella (Any bar, of course -- maybe you can specify a color)

I'll check back later. I wish I'd thought of this when I was travelling with a big group a few weeks ago!

PS -- How do you feel about scavenging items from other cruisers (not in your group)? This would open up alot of possibilities, and would get them into the swing of meeting their fellow passengers.

We are open for anything... just wanna make it fun.. :D Thanks for the ideas!!! ;) Keep 'em coming.. :D

  9. I haven't, but I LOVE scavenger hunts! Are you thinking of things the "hunters" can get from other cruisers, or staff, or? I'll try to think of some items if you'll give me a general idea what you're looking for.

Oh boy this sounds like fun!

Mainly.. I am trying to find things around the ship that they can get more acquainted with the ship. Like.. chip from the casino.. etc. Im also trying to make some of them in riddles.. Which I am truely not good with, so we will see.. LOL :D

    Thanks! ;)
