Hi all, we had our first Azamara cruise last year, and really enjoyed it so have been looking to book another, the prices however seem to be a lot more than our last one. One option I have noticed is a veranda guarantee on a Quest itinerary, and I would appreciate some advice regarding any potential downsides we may encounter with a guarantee booking. We have cruised quite a bit on other lines and been in cabins front, back and middle and not been troubled by the ships movement so location is not a big deal.
Are there any obstructed balconies that may be allocated as that would be a problem ?

You’re welcome. Yes, this is a reputable taxi company. Remember that all prices in Denmark include tips - only if the driver makes an extra effort, you can give a small amount as an appreciation.
Thanks again Hallasm we used this company and had a great tour with a very knowledgeable and safe driver

Hi Hallasm, I hope you dont mind another taxi based question I have seen this company https://taxa.dk/en/book/sightseeingtaxa/ offering a sightseeing taxi at a fixed price which would suit the 4 of us but I cannot find any reviews anywhere have you any opinion, experience or alternatives regarding this option

I also think the room service bottles of spirits are good value and worth a look

Possibly, but do you have a believable alternative explanation for the increase in this sort of behaviour, that we could maybe discuss, and perhaps ridicule?
Could it be the "Calman effect" brought on through excessive miming to cheesy dance routines and loud guffawing at mildy amusing incidents driving passengers to seek solace in alcohol.

They always manage to make these announcements of cancellations after people have paid their full balances. Same with my cancelled May cruise on Queen Victoria, they didn't announce the cancellations until after everyone had coughed up the money.
You are spot on I called and asked to delay final payment on R207 as there were rumours it would be cancelled but no all going ahead so must pay or lose deposit so paid up now cancelled. I am sorry but if there was even a chance this would be in dry dock why not delay finals. Also let's leave it on the website as available even though its cancelled and just to rub it in send cancellation invoices that mean nothing with instructions to ignore the figures. This company needs a real wake up call the customer service is non existent

Paying for anything is an investment of sorts. The question is, is it a wise investment and will you get a return on your capital. 😉
They don't return to the capital I am afraid would be a lot easier for me, we have to get back from Southampton

Are there any cruises leaving on the 17th from the UK and if so where do I sign

I should do the same.
I just hope that all the really miserable ones decide not to cruise anymore, because they were irritating onboard before all of this COVID let alone afterwards. I’ve lost count of the amount of times ive been on a ship listening to someone and thinking ‘why do you even bother cruising’ 😂

Sorry to ask this question ( I may be a bit thick ) but I used some Tesco coupons to part pay for my cruise £500 and the rest on my cc , so do I get a complete refund of my cruise or will p & o deduct the double up of my coupons , so loseing the £500 , this is the first time I have ever used Tesco coupons to part pay for a cruise.
Hi Purdey16, from what they told me if you asked for a refund they return the clubcard vouchers to tesco who credit them to your account and refund the cash amount you paid.
Also clubcard vouchers are X3 the value so £5 = £15 on cruise spend

I noticed this on a well known travel agents website regarding refunds
P&O - 60 days**
** If you are over 70 or your booking has been escalated, you can expect to receive your refund by Wednesday 20th May.

Hi Selbourne,
we are also in our 50's and arrived late to cruising, we have now done 9 with P and O, 1 Viking and 1 Seabourn.
We enjoy the P and O experience especially the familiar crowd onboard but a couple of special offers drew us away to the other operators which was under £250 per night Viking on Orion and Seabourn Encore. It took a little bit of getting used to once onboard but both exceeded our expectations, it often felt that we were the only ones onboard. The food was fantastic especially of not was the buffet and outside eating area on Viking and the Sushi (I never thought I would eat raw fish) restaurant on Encore. We had 3 booked this year Ventura in March obviously cancelled, Seabourn in June (cancelled) and I found a really good deal on Princess whcih we wanted to try and had been recommended to us in September which is also cancelled.
If I can get a good deal I would not hesitate to go on Viking or Seabourn the only note is to ensure you have the drinks package on Viking its well worth it.

The data I read was on May 9th. Statistics just can't keep up with fast changes caused by covid19.
Avril
I was quoting what is on the webpage, things have changed quite a lot in the last week even if looking at a 10 day average which is a very strange number to be using, you would think a 7 day average would be more representative, still what do I know 😲
