I am booking for this September so was just wondering if it would be beneficial to wait a couple of days. Doing solo & right now it's 150% - hoping a sale would eliminate supplement altogether. Apparently I'm am optimist. haha

I just got off the phone with a woman from flight department who was very helpful. I was asking about flights to Europe from the west coast. She told me a lot of general information such as they tend to book red eye from the west coast to Europe or the east coast. To countries in Europe, they tend to book the regional airlines such as British air for London. An actual person does do the final flight schedule & they try to make layovers around 4 hours. Made me feel a little more comfortable with using them - I still may do my own air to Amsterdam because from what she told me they will have me leaving LAX in the afternoon & getting me there in the afternoon. If I book myself I can leave morning & get in morning & have all day to tour.

I definitely don't mind up to 4 or 5 hour layover - just not 10 like a couple of flights were. I actually got off the phone with the air department & the woman I talked to was very helpful. Wondering if I should wait a couple of days to book

Thank you. I'm usually willing to gamble, especially out of LAX with so many flights but air travel has gotten so unpredictable lately. I may book my own there since it's so important & let them bring me back. I'll still save some money. I would love to hear some recent west coast to Europe stories.

I'm wanting to do their air since it's such a bargain & am traveling alone & coming in 2 days early. I looked & couldn't find anything on the website about length of layovers which I thought I read here once. Is there a maximum layover times especially for overseas flights? I'm coming in to Amsterdam from LAX & leaving out of Heathrow. From my research on booking sites it looks like direct flight to are hard to come by for trip over & direct flights from LHR are plentiful & cheaper than stop overs, but there are the flights with 10 hour layovers (usually a little more money). Any experience with these airports from anyone? I've used their air from LA to Rome & was happy with the flights but I know there can be problems

You do not have to purchase transfers with their air. I believe you can choose what airport you want to fly in to but they are all different prices, LAX being the cheapest

I get half price bag at my status - anyone know how much they charge per bag?

Ok, never used Carnival. When I referred to Carnival products I meant Holland & Princess. I have been told by travel agents that they will get you yo the ship at some point. Don't know if that is still the case

I know Carnival products guarantee to get to the ship (later if not sooner) if you use their air. NCL doesn't have same policy?

Another question regarding flights to Europe; I usually travel with just carry on & bring a folding suitcase in case I want to buy something. Do the airlines NCL use include one checked bag? I have 2 airline credit cars that include bags but am wondering in case I get a different airline.

The one time I did their air it worked out well. Seems like from west coast they don't fly you all over the place. Also looks like direct flights are about the same price from London. When I book my own air I don't feel like I'm in control either, haha

I was on Carnival & one booster was all that was needed to be up to date for over 50

No control but I had a good experience with Airfare from LAX to Rome. I would have chosen the same flights

I have been looking at a cruise with their air deal. I just went to it & no air offered. This happened in the last 2 hours. Cruise is more than 75 days away

Hello. I am looking at booking this Sept to Amsterdam, returning London. w\What itineraries/airlines are you getting? I know there are lots of problems with NCL air but I am traveling solo& it's half the price - I'll be coming in 2 days early with air deviation

I should say "provider's" name - it was a question that needed to be filled out on Carnival site to complete test results. I did another test the same day that had the provider's name on it (proctored one was backup so didn't use those results). I don't know what would have happened if I put N/A or something to that effect

Correct. Make sure they remove any transfers they add when you use their air

Let me get this straight; I am planning to leave US on Monday for a cruise that leaves Amsterdam in the Thursday. I can do a proctored antigen test right before I leave? The company I use didn't put the doctor's name on the final result but it was on my appt confirmation email. Is that a problem? I know Carnival asks for the Dr name on their paperwork
