I did not get a card but I did see there T/V commercial for weekly N.C.L. free cruise give away.

I think they did it last year also.

I think I may have won it, I was just looking on their website and I was there one of the days that you needed to be there to be entered.

I got a card in the mail yesterday from Twin River Casino in Rhode Island for a free cruise on NCL. Did anyone else get this? At first I thought it might be one of the time share type "free cruise" scams. But, those never actually list the cruise line and this says there will be reps from NCL on hand to make reservations. The card said that the only fees I need to pay are the government taxes. Has anyone ever gotten one of these from a casino players club? Was it legit?

What did you find was the best way to get to Maho Beach? Are the private taxi's the best, etc? I've never been to St. Maarten, but Maho Beach looks AWESOME!:D

We took a taxi there. I forget how much it was, but I seem to think it was around $30 for the two of us. The driver asked how long we were going to be there and picked us back up when she said she would.

do you know if they sell beer at that duty-free?

There is a thread dedicated to this discussion. Some feel that it is due to the recent events, while another poster mentioned that it was in the works, as Carnival has invested in another docking area.

 

 

Either way, I am looking forward to St. Maarten in March, it will be a new Island for us, as we did the same Itinerary last year.

I went to Maho beach in April when on was on the Rcl Grandeur Of The Seas. It was awesome. The little bar on the beach has a schedule of flights coming in and the type of planes they are. I stood on the beach as a plane was taking off, not sure what it was but it was big. It was insane how strong the jet blast is. We're going back there when we're on the Victory in Jan.

The balcony starts where the "Y" in Victory is. You are going to love the balcony...it's awesome.

 

 

 

Thanks for the pics! I had an aft on the Glory a few years back and it was awesome. Unfortunately, that was the best part of the cruise because of some issues I had onboard with rude staff people and getting overcharged in the spa. I said I wouldn't sail on Carnival again, But, when I saw this itinerary and the corner aft, combined with the price, I decided to give Carnival another try.

We're on the Victory on 1/17, we ended up getting 6461 with the wraparound balcony! I was trying to figure out which one it is from pictures, does anyone know if it is the one right where it say "Carnival Victory" across the back of the ship?

I'm renting a car for my trip on 1/27 to get to the port from the airport. I think I paid about $30 for the car.
