  1. You continue complaining up the chain until you get what you want. Simple. If I'm a valued customer they will Bend for me. Which they always have. My last issues I had I complained to the right people and wrote the right letters. Got a free cruise.

     

    Well you must be valued if you received a free cruise. Continue to complain and you will find out just how valued you are.

  2. Personally I would not have accepted this situation. You paid for the upgrade..once they charged you and you paid... in my opinion this is a binding contract and should have been upheld...let them take the deal back from someone else!!

     

    Wouldn't that "someone else" also have, as you say, a binding contract:confused:

  3. I beg to differ as we sailed on the Freedom and being Diamond members they still had a special breakfast (champagne/OJ) in the middle of the week.

    That was an upper tier event not the D/D+/PC breakfast that is held in the MDR each morning when there is no actual DL on the ship. Two different things.

  4. We were on the Rhapsody last week of May and did not find the CL to be on the cool side. We did notice some noise from outside the lounge due to it being panels and not a floor to ceiling wall set up. The noise was not bad during the day but at night if you wanted a quiet cup of coffee or a place to read the CL is not the place.

  5. It is my understanding that this is something they recently started. They did the same sort of breakfast on the Monarch a week earlier except there was no officer at the table.

     

    I am pretty sure what you are mentioning is a top tier event and it only happened once during the cruise.

     

    On ships without a dedicated Diamond Lounge they have a seperate area in the MDR for Diamond and above where they have a daily breakfast and you get the specialty coffees that are typically available in the lounge

  6. On our B2B2B on the Navigator in December we did not receive the WOW cards during our initial check in. During the second week I asked about the WOW pin a bartender was wearing. He told me about the cards. I went to Guest Relations and they gave me the cards. From what I have read it appears each port may be a bit different. Funny how there can be more than one process for the same thing;) :confused:

  7. I am sailing on the Monarch as an Emerald member. Three days later I will be on the Freedom hvaing surpassed the points for Diamond.

    The rep at Royal told me to get in touch with the Freedom loyality Ambassador while I am on the Monarch.

    So my question is:

    Is the loyality Ambassador the same as the Diamond Concierge.

     

    No, they are two different positions. Not sure of the location of the LA on the Monarch but it will be listed in the Compass. Doubtful your status will update. He/she will be able to give you the correct coupon book and put a Diamond sticker on your Sea Pass.
