My husband wonders if there is still lobster served? We live on the west coast of Canada and have wonderful lobster, so i am not sure why he is worried, but i thought I would check to see if anyone knows.:o

At the moment it's still the same My time and seated with formal nights.
I didn't go ashore today as I've been to Rome lots of times. Mind you I was in blaze until the early hours ;)
Many thanks, Oh I envy you, seeing Rome a lot. This 12 hours will be my first. I hope not my last. I am so excited.
In a blaze, LOL. Hope they were good!

Ship is looking and feeling great and refreshed. Dining venues changed names but still trad / my time . No musical on this 5 day cruise
Hi Craig,
What a great person you are to keep us all informed. Hope you do relax :)
If you have time... I and my husband are sailing on Allure in October this year. On my cruise planner all i can sign up for is mtd. Does this mean there is still a formal night? We are travelling from Canada. Is dining very different now? I thought it was two sittings per night.
Any information you have time to share, i will be delighted to read. Any information about docking at ports, what you did, photos...OH I AM GREEDY :)
Please enjoy and relax. :)

Flew from the US last Thursday to Paris for two fabulous days. We took the High Speed Train from Paris to Barcelona for two more amazing days, before boarding the Allure yesterday. So far everything is great! Wonderful meal (at 1/2 price) at Chops last night. Had the Roast Beef sandwich at Central Park when we boarded which was very good and not crowded at all. Luggage came right away, Cabin Steward, Renaldo is awesome. In a JR Suite on the hump, deck 9 and it's great. Saw Headliner Show doing a'Queen' tribute which was very good. Ocean Aria canceled due to weather .... Got rainy and windy last night. Did Windjammer for breakfast and that too was good. GREAT SERVICE EVERYWHERE! All staff friendly, happy, helpful and professional! Now if the wind would die down a little and the temperature warm up a little I'd be even happier! Just an amazing trip so far! :)
I hope you have a wonderful time . can you post information on the day trips you take. Would love to know , , hmm everything. If you have to time to write and add photographs t would be wonderful. Is there formal dining? I signed up for mtd as that is all that shows on my cruise planner for October this year. Do they have a Michael Kors store on the ship?

Success - managed to do it - eventually !!!!!
Where did you book? I see nothing on my cruise planner.

More and more confused. We booked through a travel agent and i booked mtd online as that was the only option I had. I booked different times to coincide with the shows.
I keep seeing on other posts people are booked for formal dining at two set times.
I tried RC, but no answers from them. I find them not willing to answer emails, which i feel is disrespect able for a large company.:(

Unless it's changed since last summer it's Coach and Guess. I found less expensive prices at Coach outlets and online. Guess was average to me. Britto was also more than what I've paid.
Thank you. I am sure you are correct. I am not keen on Guess. I have bought a couple of Brito here in Vancouver and its very cheap.

What shops are on Allure of the Seas? I hear a Michael Kors and Kate Spade rather than Coach? Also is it worth buying on the ship?:)

Allure is in drydock right now for the next 2 weeks (in Cadiz Spain)...then it heads into a summer of cruises out of Barcelona & Rome before returning in the fall to Ft. Lauderdale. We'll be on Allure in Barcelona at the end of this month, a few weeks after drydock.
Being cheeky, I am on the cruise in October this year. I would love your feedback on what you did at the ports we stop at. Any details that you are willing to share I would love to hear. I am trying to organize my husband and I. We are a young couple..LOL in our middle sixties. I would love to hear even stuff like what shoes to wear, time needed to get from ships to place. formal nights, type of dining.
As I said I am being cheeky, and only if you have the time :)

Thank you all.

Can anyone give advice on this port of call. I was looking at a company called Shorebee and they have a tour for 80eu per person if there are eight people in a bus. They drive to Florence, stop at Michelangelo Square and you can either do your own thing or get a guide and then on the way back they stop at Pisa and then back to the cruise ship. It is a duration of 9 hours.
Any advice would be great :)

Many thanks for a quick reply. I am not too good on these boards. I dig a round but never seem to fins want I want, again thank you.

My husband and i will be on Allure and stopping at Naples.
If we took bus from the port to train and then to Sorrento and Pompeii, can any one advise if this is okay to do. I know it is a personal thing to how long one stays at Sorrento or Pompeii but it is it possible in the time we are docked? It was also suggested that on the return, to take a hovercraft from Sorrento to Naples.
Has anyone done this please?:)

The more posts I read, the more confused. I booked through a travel agent but when I go to RCL to book, the only choice i had was my time dining, which I booked different times depending on shore days. If i stay with my time dining is there still formal nights included in that, meaning every one dresses in formal but has different time seatings. The last cruise i went on was I presume traditional, we had a 6.30 seating with our family and we had two formal nights.
Any help would be appreciated :)

Nessy11, if you could remember the company you used I would be grateful. I am travelling in October on the Allure .

Thank you Bob. How does formal night work with my time dining please?:)

Thank you for answers:)

Hello. I have booked the my time dining for my husband and I for our cruise in the Western Mediterranean this year. I am so confused, do we still have formal nights?
-
I am confused over tipping. Last time we cruised we were given envelopes for a;; stations. I read the information on RC website, but still confused. Is it automatically charged to our credit card we will be using or do we still need cash in hand for tips?

Hello
Has anyone stayed in this cabin?
-
I am looking forward to hearing if there are formal nights on October 2015 cruise.
I contacted RC but no reply. Looking at the itinerary I thought maybe they will not happen. I have booked my time dining so far. I and my husband are travelling from Canada, so packing a lot is a challenge.
