  1. Just wondering if you remember how much the unlimited zipline bracelets were?

Im looking into excursions now and unlimited ziplining sounds fun being that this will be our first time.

We were there in late December and just stayed at the pool. I think we paid $8 for an umbrella and our son and I paid for the unlimited zip line bracelets.

The water slides there are fantastic and the zip line was OK. It would be great if you have never been on one before but if you have it will quickly lose it novelty.

  2. I just sailed on the Victory about a week ago and I must admit I was a little disappointed. Dont get me wrong, my family and I still had a ball but we were a little underwhelmed with the cabins.

We booked 2 cabins. A balcony for the hubby and I and a Interior across the hall for the kids. The furniture in our room was extremely worn. Most of it had dings all over and pieces chipped or just missing. The balcony curtain had small holes all over it so whenever it would get dark you would get the effect of a light show in the room due to some light coming in through the holes in the curtain. The AC in our cabin didnt work the 1st 2 nights, they eventually fixed it on the 3rd day. We just slept on the balcony the 1st two days to have a nice cool nights sleep. The soap / shampoo dispenser attached to the bathroom wall was hanging slightly and missing the push button knob on the shampoo side.

The activities were great and we enjoyed ourselves anyway......it was just the cabin that was a little disappointing. Hopefully they will upgrade the rooms soon as we would definitely like to give it anther try.

  3. It can be done.

Contact your Travel agent or PVP if you have one and ask them to link you all together for purposes of dining. They will need each person Booking/Confirmation number to do so.

Try to arrive as early as possible to dinner so that you do not have long wait times.

Also consider splitting up into 2 tables.

We did that on nights where there was a slight wait. We were always able to get 2 tables next to each other during those times

  4. I was just on the Victory. For free:

workout machines (treadmills, elliptical, bikes, etc)

    weight machines and freeweights

    sauna and steam room

    locker room w/ showers

I didn't realize the Sauna and Steam Rooms were Free

I'll be taking advantage of those this time.

Glad I came across his board.

  5. We will be arriving in Cozumel via the Carnival Victory in a few weeks.

We will be with family. Approx 14 of us.

I was thinking of looking for a shuttle that could pick us up in port ...maybe take us on a tour and then to Mr. Sanchos.

Anyone know of any shuttle companies that we may be able to contact to do this.

We are trying to avoid having to take several vans

  6. Im loving this thread!!!

I plan to try the milkshake and also im thinking I may make my own version of the big mac......Burger, thousand island, lettuce

I also love to make a cup of cocoa at the end of the night with a little vanilla ice cream on top...noneed to mix...it all comes together...

  7. i just did this earlier this month. It was at Hotel Cozumel and was fabulous! Highly recommend!

I definitely want to give this a try in a few weeks.

Do you know If this has to be booked through the cruise line or can it be booked via salsa and salsa directly?
