Great cabin for Alaska. Bring lots of warm clothes, the balcony will be REALLY cold, but they are the best views on the boat. We book forward facing cabins when we went to Antartica, Panama Canal, and Alaska. These are "risk vs reward" cabins. All other cruises, we book aft facing so we can sit outside and read and relax. We even bring ski goggles and goofy looking trapper hats on cold forward facing trips due to the wind and wind chill.
We have really never noticed much more movement (aft or forward) than any other area of the ship. All that said, while cruising at normal speed (as opposed to scenic cruising) using the balcony is tough.
Best views, your own bathroom, go out on deck without crowds, order room service and drinks, etc... can't be beat ! One tip; bring HEAVY duty magnetic hooks (Amazon) to hang your heavy jackets and binos at the balcony door for quick exit to whales and scenery ! In this cabin, you wont miss a thing and be warm and cosy until you want to go look at "stuff". Happy cruising !

One day in each port in July. Anyone know of a place for a Lobster lunch?

All ships have the "juice bar". It's not a standalone venue. On most ships, it's located somewhere in the buffet - which is suspect is where it is on Island, or it's at the bar just aft of the buffet (not applicable to island as buffet is forward). Hours are limited, usually closed by 2pm. It's 5 or 6 juice blends, not fresh fruit juiced when you order.
Thank you !

We will also probably end up canceling our cruise. I had a two cabins on Aloha, a wheelchair accessible balcony with an interior close by. Received my new cruise/staterooms today. 26 day Sydney to Los Angeles in April 2026, which leaves two days later and has two few ports, so similar. However, the balcony is on deck 15/Marina and is not wheelchair accessible while my interior is all the way down on deck 8/Emerald. According to my TA, it appears they are not protecting the price even though I have the letter that says they are. She's going to call Princess and try to get it all figured out. ☹️
Good luck, this is so sad.

Does the Island have a juice bar for the Plus Package? If so, where is it? Thanks and happy sailing !

I'm not surprised you're disappointed, its no substitute at all for the original and I would do just as you have done and cancel.
It all worked out; we found a really nice 23 day trip on Seabourn for about the same price and time! Then we booked a NCL 2026 Africa cruise. Then we booked a Windstar 2027 Eclipse cruise. Good luck to everyone, we really hope they don't do you dirty like they did with us. We have a 21 day Princess trip in July and we are looking forward to that. Sadly though, we are moving on to another line. It came down to loss of confidence in Princess. I was always told "you can't stay in second grade 'cause you like the teacher"! Happy sailing !

I would check your cancellation email that you received from Princess!
Ours states "...please be assured that if the cruise fare on your new voyage is higher, you will be rebooked at the original rate paid. If the fare on your new voyage is lower, you will be rebooked at the lower rate. Pre-booked shore excursions, spa, and dining reservations will be cancelled with costs refunded to the original form of payment..."
And that is for "rebook you on a replacement voyage that offers a similar itinerary." to be confirmed by May 31. Patiently waiting for what they offer us.
Even if it was the same price; it's a worse room and includes 22 sea days!

Was that seriously offered as a replacement by Princess? I haven't had any alternative offered yet, but I do think that it's ridiculous to suggest that cruise is any more suitable than a b2b carribean would be.
It wasn't even offered. We woke up in the morning and they had replaced it on our account!

Great ! I will email you as soon as we book. We are waiting for to make sure our 30 day Princess Cruise has been wiped off our books first. Should be today. Thank you !

Looking to book the 23 day Remote Pacific Islands tour for Sept 4, 2025. Can I book the cruise and then get the ref, or do I have to wait until I get a coupon to book? Any advice would be great? Never sailed with Seabourn, we just fled from Princess.

You forgot the other point on this one - it is a month later. For us that defeats the whole purpose of the cruise 😞
True.

Well we got our "replacement cruise". It went from 30 day LA to Australia in a really nice room to cruise to Tahiti and back to LA. Terrible room and they want 4 grand more!!! Cancelled ! This company is becoming a joke. We keep trying and trying and they just can't get it right.

Just got our notice that it was can cancelled. Can't wait to see if they really do "find" another ship. Sad, we could have booked another ship for that time, now all the best rooms are gone.

DW used to keep all the paperwork, now we make sure each has a copy of everything in case of separation.

This is so sad, we are starting to second guess our loyalty to this line. We like it best, but we liked Holland, Oceania, and Holland ALMOST as much. Unless this is fixed we will be looking around again.

DW and I saved about $1,200 PER PERSON on our Baltic Cruise ! We did not have to rebook, Princess just sent a new invoice with adjusted amount. Happy Thanksgiving !

Silver Sea did the same thing to us. We disputed it on our credit card. Silver Sea did not respond too the credit card company and we were refunded rather quickly from American Express. Our cruise was never cancelled, we just figured out that the ship would not be built in time for our cruise, so we cancelled it early.

Check terms when booking excursions some were non refundable re: flight to Antarctica.
Dog, do you have more information about the flight to Antarctica? Did you do it? If not, do you know if it was through Princess? Thanks !

Looking for input on "Must Do" Antarctica excursions. We will be on the 16 day "Antarctica and Cape Horn" trip and sailing on the Sapphire Princess. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance and happy sailing!

Disputed this on my credit card right away ago. Got all my money back on my AE card right away and dispute was settled weeks ago. All done with this company. They will have to do something pretty amazing to get me to come back. Bad business. My money is my money. Shame on you. Ya'll gotta do something to help yourself and stop being sheep.

Hoping against hope that this thread will stay with the OP's simple question; "Are people getting the refund money in their credit card accounts?".

Seems like "crickets" from ANYONE that received a refund. Zero communication from Seabourne. Disappointing to say the least from a higher end cruise line. "Bueller?" "Bueller?"

Took awhile, but found only one place. The Daily Catch is about 23 miles from the St. Anthony, in a small town of 600. Gets great reviews and the owner is sending a van to the dock to pick us up at no charge. We are going cod fishing and iceberg tour for another $50 ! Here is the web site; https://dailycatchrestaurant.com/
