Welcome all, glad to see there is interest in games. My wife and I always bring cards and dominoes on every cruise and try to get others to join in. We go to the Marketplace (Buffet) between mealtimes so we can have our pick of tables. I like to set up a Christian Worship Service on Sunday mornings if anyone is interested. Non-Denominational. I have music we can sing and maybe we can get someone with a guitar to play. We usually meet in the Limelight Lounge on Sunday at 10am. I've never had a cruise director disagree. Looking forward to meeting all of you.

The internet in the pacific SUCKS. They actually gave refunds to those who pre-paid on line so they could buy daily on days it actually connected. So, Beware!

We have flown United 3 times to and from Australia and actually enjoy the 14 hours. More so than the local ones in the states. The price is not too bad either. Then there are no stops from California to Tampa.

My wife, Roseann, is in a wheelchair but can get on and off a bus. Is anyone going on an easy tour that we might join? We'll buy lunch... (maybe not for everyone except on the ship). BTW, we were on this ship in April from Brisban to Seatle. They have LOTS of comedians and trade them off throughout the cruise. The stage shows are very good too, and rarely full. Alan

Carnival gave me a price of over $2,800 from Brisbane to Tampa FL. I found the SAME flights on United for about $1,200.Brisbane to SFO to TPA. Everywhere we fly to or from a cruise, we stay a night to make sure we make our flight in the am.

Hair dryers are not allowed on the cruise ship. They provide one in every stateroom. Save room in your luggage for more important things like playing cards or games. It's a loooong cruise.

We have been unable to check in for some time now. They say it's a system wide problem. Since you said you checked in, I tried again and still no go. I guess we will have to wait until we reach the port?
