  1. Update: I just got off the phone with OceanReady team and was told there was no way to enter a credit card into both reservations. My choices were to enter a different card (can be changed onboard), or leave it blank and sort it out when you get to port (both rooms can have the same credit card if you are onboard). Additional fun fact: The rep also informed me that I could not verify the passage documents for my kids since they are not "linked" to my reservation (whatever that means). Even if I fix the credit card issue, I will need to sort the docs out at the port. Very frustrating that their systems allow you to book kids in their own room but don't allow a parent to enter the required details (credit card and passage doc verification) before we all get to port. Grrr.
  2. You are very welcome. I had a similar experience until I stumbled on that number. I actually had another issue that was solved is about 10 mins by calling that same line. It is GOLD!
  3. If you do figure out how to get the resolved without using a "burner" card, let us know. I saw someone suggest have a rep do it for you - curious if that will work. I am following this thread.
  4. She doesn't have an account (or at least not that I am aware of). We booked through a TA which generated a new CC number (I believe) since we have not cruise Princess before. I had created an account while I was researching the trip, but forgot to get my CC number to the TA. I needed to call and have my CC numbers merged to get it to link to my website account. All this makes me think I'll need to do the same for her.
  5. I only created an account for myself (which I use for both the website and app). I've been managing both people from that single login (including doing the blue lane/green lane steps). I wouldn't already have a login for her, would I? I'm guessing that was just a warning not to try to create an account on both the website and app for the same person, correct?

Question is in the subject, but I am basically wondering if we should just both use my login since I can see and manage both passengers, or if there is some benefit to setting her up with her own account? I do see the benefit of both having access to the app - that is not the question, just wondering if we needed separate logins. Thank you!
  7. Update: I just got off the phone and got everything sorted. I was going to just delete my account and start over so I called 1-866-288-5038 (got it off the app when I chose "delete account" from the profile page). I was connected to a Captain's Circle rep (not general customer service like I had before) who informed me accounts could not be deleted, but she would help me fix it. There were some things she needed to pass off to the MedallionClass team, but after about 30 mins, everything was working and linked as expected. I'm not sure if I just got lucky with the rep, but I am certainly happy with the results.
  8. Yes I can. I've been able to see and make adjustments to my booking, so I'm not completely out in the cold. I just have to find time to work through the account stuff with them. Too busy! 🙂
  9. Yes, my reservations are all accurate to my govt. ID, but when I created my Princess login, I used the name I used on a daily basis as I assumed the CC number would be the thing I need to link them (I thought I was getting ahead of the game, but that may have been my first issue). I did also have my TA attach the correct CC to my reservation, but for some reason, it did not seem to stick. It sounds like if I should be able to work through this over the phone with PCL - I'll just put an hour or two aside 🙂 Thank you for the assistance! At least my reservations are all correct- this should just be a Princess account issue I need to work through.
  10. Scenario: I have booked my first Princess cruise with a travel agent and am having trouble linking it to my online account that was created before the reservation was made. Potential Issues: 1) This account had a Captains Circle number assigned, and my reservation also has a difference Captain's Circle number generated when the book in was made (as far as I can tell). 2) Additionally, I set up the account with my "friendly" name rather than my official, passport name (Mike vs. Michael). Am I correct in assuming that one or both of the above may be the cause of me not being able to link? I did call Princess and they suggested making a new account, but really never told me how this new account would work any better than my existing one. When I do try to create a new one, the system it tells me that an account already exist on that email address (of course it does!). Also, I don't want to make the same mistakes with my new account (if I can ever get one set up). Does anyone have any insight into how I need to be set up to get my reservations to link? I will very likely need to call Princess back, but I want to be as prepared as possible so I don't have to try multiple calls to get things fixed. Thank you!!
  11. Sounds like I've signed up for hours/days of support calls to get this sorted out. I was already on a call today for an hour but nothing really got solved. Should I be talking to the general customer service reps or should I connect with the App/IT staff? Is there a special number I should call? I just chose "other" when I called earlier today.
  12. I am the designated planner for the trip - my parents prefer it that way (and so do my kids). I have no problem with creating accounts for all if that is the best/only option. I was working on doing just that and then I ran into an new problem. I went to create an account for my kids' room (ages 17 and 16), I was told they have to be 18 to have an account. How do I get this room set up with an account? At some point I may just have to call and try to work through this with Princess. I was just hoping to be able to avoid that if other have a better answer for me. It seems there are a ton of issues with the website and app in general. I'm just trying to work through it all. Thanks all!
  13. We have 2 connecting rooms and a 3rd separate room booked for my family for an upcoming trip. Each room has a separate reservation and I am (obviously) only listed on one of them. Does a person in each room have to have a Princess account to log in and book excursion and other app functions, or can everything be managed from my account? It is my first time using the MedallionClass system and I would like everyone to get full use of the app, but currently I am the only one with an account. Any assistance or advice would be greatly appreciated!
  14. When do bookings for excursions open? I've read on the website approximately 15 weeks before, but I've also read it is based on when the reservation is paid in full. If I pay 6 months before sailing, can I book excursions at that point, or do they open for everyone at the same time about 3 months out? Thank you!
