  1. ms Nieuw Amsterdam will be at CT dock from 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and she is on a 7 day Inside Passage. Also in port is Discovery Princess, at FKL dock (2:00 pm to 10:00 pm) The PTZtv webcam can be found at https://www.juneauharborwebcam.com/ Next up: Koningsdam and Eurodam on May 8, 2023. Leanne
  2. I had hope for you, as the couple of times I have had a peep at the Juneau cam lately, it wasn't moving. However, I did notice that it is now panning.... L.
  3. DH and I were on the Rotterdam in February in our own room, and my father travelled with us in his own room. Guest Services was able to have a spare card made, and like @Cruise Suzy, all you could do is open the door....I know this, because I gave the wrong card at the bar one time! The access card has the room number on it, so I could tell the difference between mine and his. L.
  4. Here we go, the first sail in post for Juneau, Alaska! These sail in posts will be different… most of you will watch the sail ins, not the sail aways. (Juneau is 4 hours ahead of Fort Lauderdale, and most HAL ships leave Juneau around 10 pm Juneau time.) No waves either, and you will find that Juneau sail ins are not for all, but still, the chance to see some of HAL’s BHBs! ms Eurodam will be at CT dock (Cruise Ship Terminal Dock) from 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and she is on a 7 day Alaskan Explorer. Also in port is Norwegian Bliss, at AJD dock (1:30 pm to 11:00 pm) The PTZtv webcam can be found at https://www.juneauharborwebcam.com/ Next up: Nieuw Amsterdam on May 2, 2023. Leanne
  5. I will be doing Juneau sail ins/aways as well, so stay tuned! L.
  6. Agreed! I live on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, and we had snow last night....very unusual for this late in the year! L.
  7. Here it is, the last regular sail away of the season from Port Everglades for our BHBs! ms Zaandam will be at pier 26 from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm and is on an 11 day Atlantic Coast. As well, she is the only cruise ship in port today so should be a speedy, uncomplicated sail away. The PTZtv webcam can be found at https://www.portevergladeswebcam.com/. Next up in Port Everglades: Zuiderdam on Friday, May 12, 2023. Leanne
  8. There was a horrible storm in South Florida late last week with over 25 inches of rain in FLL, and the airport was closed. Apparently, it was a 1 in 1000 year storm. That very well could be why. L.
  9. Well, the last regularly scheduled BHB in port is the Zaandam on Tuesday. The next BHB visit to Port Everglades is the Zuidy on May 12. I will give the Juneau port sailin/away a go....the dates and times aren't as convenient for most, and there's no waves....but they are the BHBs we love! Leanne
  10. Toots from Caribbean! Thought for a bit there she was going to sail away silently! L.
  11. Looks like the anchor drop area needs to have a paint job!! L.
