  1. Just returned from the QM2 3 day Bruges roundtrip in the QG. Got the distinct impression it was a trial run after the dry dock. Just wondering if anyone else on this trip had the same impression. Whilst we couldn't fault the dining experience, the suite service was by far the worst we have ever had. I won't go through everything that seemed to go awry but... When the Daily Program was not left in our room, we asked our butler if we could have one. Instead of bringing it, she insisted we were wrong, that it had been left and we just hadn't seen it. She then went through all our papers on the desk to prove it was there - it wasn't. We got absolutely no information about disembarkation, including the luggage tags, or the one-pager that normally gets left in the room. When we asked where the tags and info were, we were told that it had been provided to us and it was in our room. Again, it wasn't. We still hadn't received it when we came to leave. This meant trying to find everything in the baggage hall later in the untagged piles. Turndown service was essentially non-existent, with pajamas left in various places other than on the bed, including thrown on the sidetable one night. Finally, at 6.40am this morning on disembarkation day as we were preparing to go to breakfast, the steward asked if he could come in just to make up the beds for the next guests. Nevermind that we had the room until 8, that didn't seem very hygienic. We still had our pajamas and other overnight items out to be packed. Maybe this is standard due to the tight turnaround but no other steward has ever asked this before. Quite a disappointing experience. We are sailing on Queen Anne next August and hope that will be better. Did anyone else find things a bit 'off'?
