Got an email from our travel agent this morning saying that you must fill out a mandatory health questionnaire, but no mention of any testing before boarding. Makes no sense.

If you are within 2 weeks (=/-) of sailing. Have credit card ready and know how much you are prepared to pay.
Thanks so much!

Does anyone have the phone number to purchase to purchase a upgrade?
Tried a search....no luck.

Have to be out of our condo at 10:00 am and my check in time is 1:30. Hoping to drop off luggage early and then head over to
midway or something close by. Do you think that would work?

Just wondering my options for outdoor dinning if any on Koningsdam .
Thanks in advance,

You can down load an app from your cell phone and date, time and location will be on your photo.
Just search time & date stamp in your app store.

Depending on the stateroom category, you can tell which direction the bed will face by looking at the deck plan very carefully on the HAL site. By facing, I mean laying in bed facing your feet. Verandah and Vista (Pinnacle-class) staterooms with the couch on the same side as the bed will be opposite the door opening side. Signature and Neptune will be the same except the couch will now face the opposite. Hope I am clear and that this helps.
Perfect! Thanks so much.

Is there a way you could tell if your stateroom bed is facing forward or back ?

Can you use both shareholder benefit and veterans discount on the same cruise.
Thanks

I logged 33 on Veendam in 2018. All on the treadmill. 4 5s and 1 13 miler- that ship didn’t have a track.
The following year, I ran 37 on a river cruise (6 10Ks).
On Valor, I ran about 20 and biked 140 on a stationary bike. I swam at the beach but that was in the years before I had a swim distance tracker and just swam by time while training for a triathlon in 2013.
Veendam was the toughest- gym was hot, the ship had a low ceiling which weirded me out, and some days were rocky and looking at the horizon made me feel off kilter. So I had to run looking at my feet.
Very impressive! Congrats

Hi Seaver. No way you can get in forty miles a week on a ship. Your best shot is researching running possibilites when you dock. Running is a great way to see a city.
I'm an old/former marathoner who has been there.
I have been running for over 40 years and have never gone more than 2 days without running. I have cruised at least once a year in that time frame, please don't tell me there is no way I can get 40 miles on a ship!

Again - not advocating for jogging on the Promenade, but the fact that the OP is asking and wondering if possible during off busy time (early morning) I am assuming they are in the "responsible jogger" category. It's like the lap swimmers in the pool , they know they can't swim laps when people are in the pool, and they look for times when it is empty to get their laps in (first thing in the morning or at the end of the day). I think the OP was just hoping the promenade might be similar somehow, but it's just not allowed regardless.
I've only seen one incident on a Promenade and it was a solo incident. It was during the "walk for a cause" and a young woman in the group in in front of us (they were walking briskly) turned to talk to her friends and walked smack into a steel beam. It was a loud bang to the head. She tried to shake it off, but left the deck shortly thereafter.
Thanks for your reply. If it's not allowed I won't run. I run 6 miles every day at 4:30 AM,was just hoping that I could run 3 laps per mile instead of 12 laps per mile. Asked and answered.

Can you run on the promenade deck very early in the morning? Hate the thought of 12 laps equals a mile up top.

Hi Seaver!
I think you get to choose (Up to VA cabin). Pick a stateroom from the deckplan and have the number ready when you call.
But really I write to let you know we have a reasonably large Roll Call going! No private tours set up, but some discussion of the ports if you want to read all 11 pages:
Thank you! Will do.

I think you should have had that discussion with whomever you were speaking with when you upgraded to CO.
Whenever I call to enquire about CO or an upgrade, I have the deck plans out and am ready to check what is over, below or beside the choice of cabins available. In fact, I did not upgrade to CO for my upcoming cruise because any upgrades that were available were not in a desirable location.
I don’t have the CO number with me at the moment, but I would certainly be calling them and making a room choice PDQ!Does anyone have the CO phone number?

We recently ( 3 weeks) upgraded and paid to club orange and currently in a VE category.
When does Holland upgrade us ? Seems to be rooms available on our cruise 24 day on Koningsdam 1/7 /23 .
I have tried calling and got no firm answer.

The picture above really helps. I want to say capacity is 60ish...Mostly 4-tops with some higher tables near the center where you can watch the chef prep some of the dishes. We really enjoyed this space and never felt rushed or crowded.
Thank you! That's exactly what I was looking for.
Is it the same staff every night?
-
What is the seating capacity in the club Orange dinning room? Trying to get a feel for the size.
-
I noticed on the Nova's deck plans that some veranda suites have a tub and a shower and some do not have a tub, does that mean there is more room
in the bathroom without the tub?
-
Thank You

I am on both legs as is a lot of others, how is Holland America handling that? I get an email saying I have to fill out a one question health question but no mention of being vaccinated or requiring a test before boarding. Makes no sense.
