It's ALWAYS 12 midnight Eastern Time. No exceptions.
Since I live in Arizona, does that mean I have to check in at 2100 my time?

Awesome thank you!!!

Thanks for all the tips!
Ok another question. I have an online check in date already (May 18). I live in Arizona. What time do I actually check in? Midnight my time or Seattle time for the Alaska cruise?? How do I figure it out so I can set an alarm? All I have is a date.

Don't forget, you can choose your Check-In arrival time first and then go back and complete the others info after you have your appointment time.
Such great info!!

I had everything to hand - passports / credit card / emergency contact / name of hotel and address after the cruise - all in about 20mins ( printed off )
I’ll be sure to have these stuff ready.

You will see "skip for now" at the bottom of the pages you can definitely skip and once you have booked your check-in time just leave the page.
Thank you so much!!!

Following! I thought they had something like this here where you could get a refund if your cruise was posted for a cheaper price.
thanks for posting this!

How did you check in fast and smoothly? I remember seeing a list of things we need to check in but can’t find it again. Thank you! Congratulations on first boarding time. Praying same for us.

Thank you so much for answering this post. Lots of useful info that I’ll be using. I’ll be reading your other post as well.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

Hi guys! Going on a cruise aboard the Carnival Victory this Sunday, Feb 17. It’s Western Caribbean.
1. Anybody ever gone solo on a cruise? I will be by myself. Any tips?
2. It’s only 4 nights...is there a formal night?
3. Attire for dinner? Like how formal should I be dressed?
4. Any recommended hotels by the port?
5. How do I get to the Southernmost part without booking an excursion?
Thanks for any help I can get.

I don't think I've ever had a $2 bill....

Oh my! I got that, too, and was so very happy. Even though it was only my first cruise, I somehow won review of the week (or something like that)!
Yehey...kudos to Cruise Critic! Thank you!

I don't have an exact answer, but while there, we were cautioned against buying fake silver. there were street vendors at every port selling silver bracelets. one tip I learned is that if they are barely touching the silver bracelet with their bare hands (you can see them try to hide tiny cloths to hold the bracelets), do not buy it. because fake silver will turn green and tarnish if they come into contact with sweat/perspiration.
have a great trip....i'm so jealous!

Yeah, we just bought small bills and paid for everything in US dollars. We only had $200 cash for the whole trip, but we came back with $80. However, I'm not a big shopper, only bought magnets, and we don't really drink alcohol, so we didn't spend as much as some would.

There's a lot of shopping you can do at the port! Or just walk around and people watch, maybe? I've only been there once, but after our snorkeling excursion, hubby and I walked around the port and visited shops, people watched, and ate. It was fun....

Oh wow, I had no idea they "chopped" scenes off of the movies, I thoroughly enjoyed them all!

Thankfully we have always been seated with pleasant people, otherwise, yeah....I wouldn't sit too long. We did AT but never really had to wait that long. It was so convenient for us (just hubby and I).

We were on the Ruby Feb 2-9. Theater times for us then were 1830 and 2030. We had plumbing issues, we were told someone flushed something down the toilet. This only took a few hours to fix. The waiters were so friendly and helpful. We had an excellent time and I'm looking forward to cruising with the Ruby again.

We were on the Ruby Princess a couple of weeks ago and did AT dining. I really loved it! We were able to dine according to the shows we wanted to see. It was just my hubby and I, so some nights we sat with a larger group if we didn't have time to wait for a table. The other few times we requested a table for just the two of us only took about 10 minutes of waiting. But we don't usually eat until 1930, so I'm not sure about your preferred dining time.

We’ve parked at the port several times. Used to cost $12. Oh well, $18 is still worth it to us.
True! It is worth the $18 they charge for the convenience and safety.

Researching Mazatlan.... mixed reviews. Taking my gear, and i know it won't be Hawaii or The Caribbean, but have plenty of time at port to try snorkeling out. Anyone have good details about snorkeling Mazatlan? I see there is a reef, but not many specifics as to where, "further away north" and "far away over there" are the most detailed report i saw. Deer and Bird island i've seen mixed reports on, but seem to be the two popular places to snorkel. Anyway, respond if you have any good or detailed info about these areas, and the best snorkeling in Mazatlan area!
We were just there last week. Doesn't look like there are beaches within walking distance from the port. But I could be wrong. Sorry not too helpful.

Kitty, I always park at the port. Not cheap, about $18 per day. But I pull up to the terminal building, give my bags to one of the porters, and go park the car. I take a reasonably short walk to the terminal building, with my luggage already out of my hands -- so I have just my carry-on, with my medicines, camera, jewelry and other valuables. It is so convenient, hassle-free!!
Yes, so true about the convenience of this. I would actually do this again if we sail out of this port. You pay for the convenience and the car was safe for the week.
Thank you!!

We just sailed this ship last week. They offered a free aerobics class on day 2. They also offered open play baggo and pickle ball.
If you have the ship’s app, you might be able to access your trip and see these info already.
